Dyslexia is classified under so many different diagnosis that it doesn`t really have one single solid "form". The one everyone seems to be familiar with is where the person has problems with letters and words, sometimes seeing or writing them backwards or in different places.

At least this is what I`ve gleaned from years of therapists. :P

Hey! Isn`t dyslexia in a nutshell having an issue reading words because the letters are in the wrong order? (this is what misleading Public Announcements implied!) Silly girls go the order of their clothing wrong! silly silly girls.

Hmm. Well fancy gets his pics OFF THE INTERNET, so if these girls didn`t want their picture exploited, they shouldn`t have put it on the net. its THEIR fail.

You know...is it fancy being a troll, or everyone getting their panties in a bunch?

I have Lysdexia and I don`t find it offensive. Maybe it`s time we laughed at ourselves first at mild comedy.

I agree with what pui says.
"separate page where you have to hit "next" is annoying, and has really turned this website sleazy."

I find that IABs content has changed for the worse and since the ads have appeared, even more so.

Goliaa...something. Would you buy a record (or download it) if in the middle of the song they interrupted to say "Please, buy more from our company"?
I hate it having to hit the next button three times to see a pic, specially if there is already propaganda. And yes, I can simply go to other site. Which is what I`ll do.

I remember the first time I saw someone do that at a football game once. I thought she was messed up.
Also, I expected something to be actually related to dyslexia; AKA, letters and numbers. >_>

Psh. Goaliejerry, you clearly don`t understand commerce. No I wouldn`t pay to use this site, because it`s not valuable in a monetary sense to me. I am the viewer. I am the target. I am who they want to see the ads. If the ads annoy me and cause me to want to give up my viewership, then they are ineffective. If I wish to express this I can. If IAB chooses not to change it and find a more effective way to make their money then they will suffer the loss of some of our business. We`re merely forwarning them. The creators of this site make money. Make no mistake, they aren`t doing you a favor, so why thank them if the service begins to ignore the patron?

I hate it on other sites and I hate it here. It`s sleazy. I`m not saying they shouldn`t make money, I`m just saying they are now doing it by outright inconveniencing the site`s faithful users. That says they don`t care about the quality of their content or their viewers, all they care about is money.

It`s not that it`s super hard to continue browsing, it just rubs me the wrong way. Also, makes me wonder what`s next.

Its free, and I`m savvy enough to not be befuddled by an ad that requires me to click "next" before getting to the content I want to see.

I`ve seen it on other sites. I understand its new here, but despite it all, IAB remains my favorite humor / absurdity aggregater on the internets.

Somewhere, out there, someone is running this site. It updates several times a day. I don`t know who or how, but it takes time. I can devote 3 seconds of my time to support their efforts. Thats all I`m saying.

goaliejerry, I don`t mind ads anywhere else on the site. Plaster them ON TOP of the content for all I care, but to have a whole separate page where you have to hit "next" is annoying, and has really turned this website sleazy.

People complaining about ads. Would you pay a fee to visit this site? No? Then don`t complain, because someone IS willing to pay a fee FOR YOU to see this site. The internet isn`t free.

yeah, i`m dyslexic but this is so lame it`s not worth getting pissy about.

it`s almost more upsetting that where malinschen lives considers dyslexia a disability! because i have certainly never felt it stopped me from doing anything just as well as anyone else.

"Wow, people are starting to hate IAB! Well the internet is full of lots of things, why go somewhere where you dont like going then say you hate being there and make your point known, Attention seeking is the worst kind of stupidity!"

So if you are not a sycophant to IAB then you`re stupid? What a simplistic attitude.

lexical = words
dyslexia = disability regarding the recognition of words, i.e. reading

I would say these girls have dysvestia, which is a word I made up that would be a disability with dressing oneself

To everyone who criticizes the folks who express their disapointment in the quality of IAB, as the viewers and users of IAB, it is our duty to give feedback as to our satisfaction of the service being provided. We would be letting the site that we so previously enjoyed down by not emphasising the standards we expect a site like IAB to maintain. Strive for more IAB or I`m afraid I will take my viewership elsewhere.

Here, where I live being demeaning to people with dyslexia is concidered a crime (since dyslexia is considered a disability), and you could`ve been prosecuted... Way to go!

But then again youre making fun of everyone with a disability, so in a way you`re at least being consistent...

Oh, I get it. Dyslexics misinterpreting the term "under"wear.

Yeah... just because people with Dyslexia can`t read well doesn`t mean that they`re incapable of understanding mundane tasks, like putting your underwear on the right way.

i don`t want to be a part of this war as i will just crash and burn, but i myself am dyslexic but i am also still a kid so it will probably go with age.(i hope)

Still i agree that people use it as an excuse to get off doing work as it seems everyone has it but in actual fact they don`t and they are just lazy and want to get off Scot free!I know a lot of people that do.I was assessed but some person so i know that i am dyslexic and not fakeing it!

bobhub600, here we go:

I can understand if people are having some kind of medical issue in their brains that prevents them from learning how to write and read...

but seriously.. all other dyslexian people are merely worth the effort of writing this.. if they know they can not read or write.. dammit go learn it. there are special schools for that with people just like them.. nobody is laughing and nobody is ripping your head off.. but damnit do something about it!.. I have no respect for people who could read and write.. but don`t provide the effort of learning it just because they didn`t learn it for whatever reason in their childhood and now are ashamed of it..

Flame on!
