If you"re going to get married, you might as well go big... Wait until 1:40 for the magic to happen. [Awww of the Day?]

the emotionally stunted and immature part of me thought this was cute until the singing and fake sword play, and then I thought it was just...GHEY.

I usually dont like these public proposals, but if they are done right like this, they are cute :)

nothing lamer than " marry me sally" on the jumbo screen at a basketball game, though. Just sayin.

Even if PHX below me is completely wrong, this still isn`t at all improv. It was awesome, don`t 100% planned up until she actually answered (in which case they probably had 2 different `endings` planned, depending on her answer).

Awesome? Absolutely.
Impov? Not at all.

It wasn`t improvEverywhere. It was Disney. It was a viral ad from last year about their summer nighTastic program. You even get hints in the song. It`s two cast members and unfortunately it was a fake proposal. Sorry to burst anybody`s bubble.

They have had some very cute REAL proposals though. I saw one on the 50th anniversary of Disneyland when the fireworks had just ended where a guy got to bring his girlfriend onto the drawbridge to propose. It was sooo sweet because he asked her if they could meet back on that bridge for their 50th wedding anniversary. And he did this in front of about 30,000 people. She said yes btw.

4:23-4:25 the guy in the lower right is totally looking at somebody equally blown away and saying "I know, right?!" Just thought that was funny :P

Also, thank you IAB for posting this, made my day

For all those people saying they know people who were engaged in less than a year but ended up being together for a very long time:
I bet you know more people who engaged too fast and then got divorced later..

a year is a while by todays standards. i know a couple that only knew eachother for 3 months before they got married and they have been happily married for 30~ years

I proposed to my wife 4 months after we started dating, we were married 2 months later. Granted, we were been best friends and quite romantic for 12 years before that.

And this guy is good. Bastard.

"They met one year ago? He`s rushing things a bit."

"not really, I know people who were MARRIED 1 year later, being engaged one year later is pretty common, its not like they`re getting married tomorrow, engagements can last for years."

I would never be able to get married that soon. There`s no way of knowing if it`s even love yet. I was in a 2 year relationship, and at our one year mark I though I was in love too but after another year I found that I wasn`t. I guess that`s the reason why there`s so much divorce.

this is really creepy I wouldn`t allow this in my theme park if I had one.

for one he`s rehearsed reality so much that she has no choice but to save her embarrassment and accept it.

the acting was terrible, and that`s all he was doing: acting.

grumblegrumblemrrrrmmhphm :(

I bet this was done after hours with a lot of volunteers or extras. If you`ve ever been to Disneyland in June, you`ll know there are about 8 trillion people moving through that spot every minute. Plus, it`s odd that everyone just automatically gave them room to perform...just seems odd. Not that what they did isn`t great, it is. I just don`t think it was as "improv" as you think it was.

I wonder how many people figured it was a show by disney, you`d have to actually see her reactions to realize it wasn`t

LazyMe: "Why do women have an instinct to touch their mouths when they get emotional or surprised?"

Because we also have an instinct that makes us say really stupid things when we`re all emotional or surprised >.< The two instincts are still battling it out though... :P
