"You can also draw parallels to that he was talking about the origin of the universe and all of life"

That`s lame dude. I can make the same argument for using that video with the Benny Hill Theme song.

geogypsy, i checked it out again and you are correct. but that was not really the main focus, so yeah it could have been better. personally i think they were going with weird on purpose while trying way to hard to seem artsy and conscious.

Ah, yes, another one of those slow-motion montages that would serve the audience much better if they just stuck with one sequence to the end, but some art fairy sat on the producer`s shoulder and made him ADHD it all to shreds.

I would have preferred a video of Stephen Hawking talking over a whole series of faceplants and pwnage.

Why is everyone bitching about the video not matching the audio? Sure there were a common denominator there. You`re just overthinking it. Cool science! The audio was kickass because it matched the electronica and the video was just cool. You can also draw parallels to that he was talking about the origin of the universe and all of life, and the video showing in great detail a little bit of the wonders that exist in this universe.

This was posted a few weeks ago on geekologie... I`m not saying they had it first... just saying it took a while to trickle down to IAB this time...

"...but what you were seeing made no sense to what was being said." (Cobrakiller)

I agree in part. It wasn`t initially obvious how the interview and video related until Hawking started talking about the destructive nature of mankind near the end.

(Still a very vague connection.)

Eh. Not that fantastic. Although, the the masks/balaclavas the guys were wearing made it seem like a bunch of murder scenes.
