Another Real Conjoined Twins Skeleton [Pic]

If you recall the last Siamese skeleton, they were fused at the spine. These two are fused at the skull.

It would have been so cool if they lived! I`d pay 5 bucks to see them in a freak show! I`m going to Hell.

These were newborns or died before birth. They have very little calcification and clearly visible fontanel lines. (openings in the skull that babies have.)

That baby would have been a super power.

That would be kinda awkward walking... Especially because they`re dead.

Aw. Poor things. :( No wonder the skeletons are so little, it`s probably very difficult to survive like that. Especially since the skeletons appear to be pretty old...

This isn`t a fake, I`ve seen it in person at the Mutter Museum in Philadelphia, PA. The Mutter Museum is a museum of medical oddities at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. Admission is $10 if you have a valid student I.D. I`d recommend any student going into the health field check this place out!

DrunkStepdad: Considering how small the skeleton is, I doubt they lived long enough to walk.

@SmilinSam "wow... would be crazy if it did have two brains, i wonder which one would control the mouth? so one would be able to speak and the other wouldn`t? or would both control it? i mean that`s crazy to think about..." i think one brain is enough for u, 2 would be too much for you

They inspire a thought of an art piece...like a political or society commentary. Two different bodies that share one mind.

I wonder what life would have been like for them if they lived into adulthood.

And yeah these don`t look like guys who were goners right after birth. Lived for a couple years.

I`m going to take a guess, then, that it was one conscious brain, slightly brain-dead and probably unable to use half of his body parts. I think someone like that would be able to survive a couple years... I don`t see how it would have survived if there were different conscious minds up there.

Yikes. They were probably better off dead. Poor things. Or thing? How many separate, cognitive brains did that have? I think it looks like they would have about one half of a brain...
I wonder if all limbs on both sides worked for the kid.
I`m guessing this `kid` died very soon after birth.

The anterior fontanelle is still opening meaning he was probably under the age of two. There doesn`t appear to be any teeth which also indicates less than two years old, most likely less than a year old.

Prove it or shut up. Who the hell cares if it`s fake or not. We`re not here to determine what`s real or not on the internet. We`re here to be relieved of boredom.

One face and one chest. Judging by the height of the skeletons, they survived at least until they were 2-4 years old. That`s really impressive for a defect that severe.
