its obviously a sport drink for pets. The name originally comes from a drink that gives you back what you lose sweating (water and salts).

I`m pretty sure the point of this is to help cool your dog off on a hot day.
Dogs cannot sweat on their own, and can get over heated easily.

In the case of severe over heating, animal rescue workers will pour alcohol on a dog, because it will evaporate quickly, and cool the dog off fast.

it would be drool then because dogs don`t sweat. They regulate their temperature by panting

Hehe, it`s pet water if you`ve forgotten to bring water from home with you. Has absolutely nothing to do with sweat (transpiration). Porcari Sweat is a soda. This is probably just another sweat-product.

There is a popular drink in Japan called Sweat. (lord only knows why) This must be some variation of it.

Yes, they do. Dogs have 2 types of sweat glands. The first type is called merocrine glands. These are located in the foot pads of dogs (and cats) and function to help cool the animal. The second type is called apocrine glands. These are located on most of the rest of the dog (and cat) but they do not function to cool the animal. Their purpose is to release pheromones.

Maybe it is dog cum? After all, everyone is notorious for bad translations into English.

Lol me and my friends always visualized Pocari Sweat as a byproduct of old grandmas running on treadmills, bottling their sweat :) Pet Sweat is even worse.

But seriously, other than the gross graphic imagery I just sent out, Pocari Sweat is actually a very good Japanese drink. Pet Sweat is the same but for dogs. I prefer Aquarius personally.

Pet Sweat is apparently like some product called "Pocari Sweat" for humans which is a sports drink. This sports drink is a version for pets. So apparently it`s more than just water.

dogs sweat from the pads of thier feet, but its not like us where its just dripping out staining our shirts or something....its very slow, and minute..thats why you need to watch your dog when it gets to hot out and your walking, let them tread on grass a bit instead of the sidewalk

my queston was, is this water for dogs? do they need bottled water now too?

Wow... I don`t really understand why we needed a Pocari Sweat for dogs, but okay.
I mean, it tastes like poo already. Do we need to force that upon our pets? Really?
