I gotta defend ferrari a bit here. Its a matter of scaling muscles versus total body mass. Anyone else remember that old video on why insects can`t become giant and take over the world from math class?

Hm, I`m not sure of what to make about him looking bored, because once I read in an article that most athletes lack a wide range of facial expressions. It was something to do with the part of the brain that controls them being kind of underdeveloped because they focus on the training of their bodies instead. Can`t find the article now, though, it was ages ago. :(

"you`ve got to remember he ways next to nothing at that age...I`d like to see him do it when he`s 20, maybe then I`d be impressed a tad more. "

irrelevant as stated by dylan... your logic is slightly flawed.

That kinda makes no sense, seeing that yes, he might *weigh* next to nothing at this age, but he also has little tiny muscles. At 20, he`d weigh more, but he`d also have proportionally more muscle mass to lift that weight. So, assuming that he stays as fit until he`s 20, it would not be harder for him to do it then.

Meh, nothing too amazing...you`ve got to remember he ways next to nothing at that age...I`d like to see him do it when he`s 20, maybe then I`d be impressed a tad more.

All I see is good gymnastics at a young age...tons of kids can do that...and other things too. Dance, sing, etc, some kids are just talented and discover their-selves at a young age.

And yeah, he didn`t really look happy...just parents that missed their chance at fame so they use their kids to get on TV...
well yeah if you are 345 pounds i don see why not, but i dont see how that has anything to do with the video
The video says he is strong, I am saying he is not so strong that we need to feel intimidated, as you do.

Look him up on Youtube. It`s definitely not just balance. He`s got a 6-pack. The kid`s ripped.

"thats so not good for him at that age.
his not going to grow as much as he would because of excercissing so young =["

I think that`s only if you do heavy lifting since it messes with the discs on your back.

Wow that kids growth is gonna be stunted. Seriously that`s not healthy at that age. On a good note though, he`ll be the coolest dwarf-superhuman ever.

Im wondering if that would be easier at that age seeing as he does not have nearly as much weight to him. Yes it still requires an INCREDIBLE amount of strength but would it be easier for him?

"Last year the body-building youngster entered the record books by doing the fastest ever 30-foot hand walk with a weighted ball between his legs."
See, you just can`t say that sort of thing on IAB and not expect some serious pun-related comment repercussions.

I feel bad for the kid if his dad is forcing him to do that. If not, then good for him.

While there is a good deal of balance involved that kid is proportionately strong for sure. He did look awful unhappy though. I find it hard to believe any child would get into that condition without some adult pushing them really hard.

Yeah but even I could hold up my own body weight and pull some pretty acrobatic poo on the jungle gym and I was no athletic dynamo. I`m not saying it`s not cool, it`s just not as crazy as everyone thinks it is. And he probably look unhappy because he`s super nervous. I would be.

McGovern1981 - the only thing I can think of would be Wotsits.

And wow, that`s pretty something, but he didn`t look entirely happy while he was there...hmm.

and BumbleBB - yeah, while balance is a factor, his arms are still holding up his weight (including that of his head).

alright I just actually watched the video (because I didn`t really care), and I have to say that at his age, while he is strong, it really has more to do with balance. A cool trick, but when you consider a large portion of his body weight is his head, it`s really just a matter of mastering the trick. I don`t think he`s extraordinarily strong or in danger of being over exercised.

"That is not good at that age. He is going to be really short and his muscle will not grow properly."

After doing some reading, Children building muscle is not adverse to their health or size (So long as steroids are not involved).

As evidence I give this link - http://www.myspace.com/richardfanclub
Used to be known as `Little Hercules` World`s strongest boy.
