If you are using the fibonacci sequence to describe breeding rabbits I think you mean the rate at which pairs of rabbits breed. If you start with 1 rabbit and you expect to get 2 rabbits I think you need to have a chat with your parents.

You know, I could go on and on about how nothing in this picture is correct, but I suspect nobody cares. If you do care to know more, search "Golden Spiral". You`ll find much better (correct) examples of this in nature.

doug: I have a feeling you only said that so you could finish with telling us about your maths degree. I don`t think you would`ve said anything if you didn`t have a maths degree, even if you were just as interested.

Yeah, I give Doug a fail, too. Is this 100% accurate? No, obviously there is a flaw in the origin of the spiral. Is it a pretty close representation at a glance? Yes!!!

The very cool thing about the Fibonacci spiral is that it`s natural. So why not squint your eyes and see it happening naturally in this photo... you`ll enjoy math more if you find the fun in it!

- Maybe if math was taught with this kind of example, I wouldn`t have flunked the subject so much.
MATH IS REEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAL

Who says that their sex life isn`t so good that they`re just bored of it by now?

etc

Yes, I have a degree in math.

this is funny
