"haha! creationists are so ridiculous `cuz their explanations were vague!"
"explanations on what?"
"y`know, stuff? i was distracted by a donkey thing, i didn`t pay attention. it was all vague, though, so that means its just silliness."

yuuup.

actually bank vole the sex of the fetus (i assume that`s what you meant by foetuses) is determined at conception, the "upgrade" mattprince speaks of comes later. genetically its a boy from cell one (the presence of a y chromosome makes it a boy regardless of appendages)

"Besides the overwhelming evidence backing evolution, they can`t explain other elements of science. For example all human foetuses start out as female, and its only through the addition of hormones that males arise. So `Adam` hardly came first. "

Thats the rub for the feministas. They didn`t get the Special Equipment ugrade...

I don`t understand how they managed to use the words `creationism` and `science` in the same sentence.

And if it`s biased to only teach evolution, and we begin teaching them creationism, which is just ONE religious-based idea, we would need to teach kids every religions ideas.

"idk, i guess i can respect the fact that christians believe what they believe if they can agree to keep it out of the public eye. this should go for all relgions tho..."

yeah i also like how they never ever have tried to enforce their religion unto others.. Oh Wait, nvm

Actually, he was. What do you think of THIS stud muffin?

So technically speaking, Adam and Eve could not have had belly buttons, since they were never birthed... right?
It is a bit biased that only evolution is taught in schools if you think about it... regardless of your beliefs.
Wait, it`s biased to have scientific data in schools?

Okay, I may believe in evolution, but I applaud this museum.

I mean, evolutionists complain about how religion is trying to stamp them out... but at the same time are doing that to creationism.

It is a bit biased that only evolution is taught in schools if you think about it... regardless of your beliefs.

I wish both sides would shut up, to be honest.

@maddices, technically everything on the planet is a mutant. most likely, nothing alive now is the same as the original cell to come into existance.

so then that means white people are mutants. I`ve always wanted to be in the X-men

You know, I don`t really care what people believe, but saying "the science of creationism" is like saying "the religion of gravity." They are completely unrelated concepts that come from opposite categories.

@brimstoneone and sprinkz, its funny because what it seems like you guys were trying to say is that white people are the evolved form of black people. i know thats not exactly what you were getting at, but that is the first notion your words brought to mind.

Yeah, our mitochondrial DNA in our X chromosome can trace us all back to a common human ancestor.

Everyone is a mutation of an African.

"`In case you were wondering, the reason there are different races is because of birth defects which caused early black people’s skin to discolor.`"

"You hear that? White people are the product of a birth defect. I feel so inferior now."

It`s funny in that science has proven that `whites` and `browns` evolved from Africans, `blacks`. Thu the female part of the human genome, which gets past on from mother to daughter.

It`s weird that he just made fun of how the models looked but didn`t give any reason for WHY this place is stupid, in fact, he clearly states that he didn`t understand any of it. That`s supposed to be a good enough reason to say it`s false or stupid? It just goes to show you, people can be moronic no matter what belief they claim, but the people who share that belief are just gonna nod their heads and agree that everyone is wrong but them... I hate you, humanity.

What makes people, christens in particular, that `god` was/is even human in appearance or deed?

What determines that `year` has to be 365 days, or a day 24 hours?

These preconceived notions when taking Genesis as literal makes anyone look like a total twat. When one ditches preconceived notions of time measurement, science and Genesis can agree on some things, buts then the question is what is literal?

It is seriously infuriating that people can get off posting that Christians are stupid, brainwashed people. It`s also infuriating that even though I or most Christians DON`T preach to your face, DON`T blow up abortion clinics, and ARE NOT hateful, stupid, and oblivious to everything outside of the church. I don`t make fun of Islam, Judaism, or Atheism so where does everyone get off making fun of us??

"It was like being able to go into a really, really expensive and thorough model of what a museum would look like in a world where science hasn’t been invented."
I love this line. I`d visit this place for that very reason, if the ticket prices weren`t so pricey... I guess even God needs to bring home the bacon.

I don`t understand why people can`t believe in both science and religion. Alot of the bible is metaphors. I don`t think it was meant to be taken absolutely literally. I am a catholic and I believe in evolution, and I DON`T believe that the earth is 6000 years old. Why would there be evidence to disprove that if we were supposed to believe it? Why do people always have to be so one sided??

Still not as bad as that one religious belief of that one particular religion that tells its followers to murder everyone else.

i see alot of people who post about all the anti-christian links. well if there were any interesting news that was pro-christian, im pretty sure they would post it. but lets see, the latest pro-christian news was a couple of hundred years ago. that could be a problem.
but come on IAB. attacking other people`s beliefs?
I don`t attack people`s beliefs. I attack when they label their beliefs `science`, and when they have the cheek to call the building a museum instead of a church.

As an apatheist, I try my best to practice temperance and understanding with all religions.

But I`m sorry, every time I see this I can`t help but shake my head. There`s way too much proof against this for me to even remotely accept any of this stuff. The thing that scares me the most are not the people preaching this, but the other people that really believe this.

What`s wrong with laughing at people`s beliefs? Why should we give special dispensation for belief? We laugh at people for all kinds of stuff. Football in the groin is a favourite though.

It`s clear that IAB is pro evolution and science. What`s wrong with them taking a stance? They aren`t taking pot shots are normal easy going Christian folk, so why don`t you all just settle down and realize there is more to life than taking offence to things that ultimately don`t affect you.

this was on "religulous", bill maher`s movie. this museum is moronic, even most christians would look at this and say "what is wrong with these idiots?" the reason there shouldnt be a "the science of creation museum" is because there is no science behind the creationism theory.
