I`d eat a dog no problem, hell I would eat people if the meat weren`t so tuff.

The only real problem we have is we`re used to seeing Dogs/Cats as pets... Really I bet they`re a good source of protein. Maybe not the little ones though...

Looks like a plagiarized version of McDonald`s for dog meat.

@Thesphinx: How does that argument work, really? That`s like saying it`s okay to eat retarded people and children.

The thing I have against eating dogs and cats is that they`re intelligent animals. Chickens and cows really are not all that self-aware.

So who here has blinders on and doesn`t think animals like dogs and horses aren`t eaten in other countries? Raise your ignorant hands please.

Honestly. As an american it is easy for me to look past the social stigmas and accept that dogs are an excelent source of meat just running around BEGGING us to make prime Doberman Rib

it`s written 正宗美国热狗 (zhèngzong1 méiguo2 règou3), meaning "tradional/genuine american hot dog". i wouldn`t be surprised if it were real haha.

shopped, look at the dog in the middle column, if it were really there the light would be reflecting off of it, it isn`t.

Well I never! I`ve learnt something new. My only experiences with dogmeat comes from China, where you can only get it in the Korean restaurant. Pricey stuff.
Presumably dogs are cheaper in the Philippines.
On a related note, the Cantonese will eat pretty much anything they can get their hands on. Tasty tasty duck brain!

mr ben, i live in hawaii. there are DROVES of filipinos here and a lot of them eat dog. its not expensive for them. hell every so often you hear a story about someones neighbor who`s dog was stolen and eaten by some filipinos across the street!! haha the point being from my experience its not all that expensive to uphold a dog eating habit. not to make an Ahole of myself by posting an unnecessarily long post for the mere purpose of correcting something that need not be corrected in the first place, or anything.

You know, dog meat isn`t actually all that bad. Trouble is, it`s pretty expensive, and is only available in the specialist restaurants. Tastes a bit like lamb. Anything labelled `meat` is probably pork. Anyhow...
This shop sells hotdogs, pure and simple. Heh, reminds me of the joke about the buddhist and the hotdog vendor... Says "Make me one with everything"

That dog is shopped in there. Note how the text runs behind it, and even more revealing, there is no glare on the dog, despite a light shining on it. Look at the hotdog on the right - just as dark, yet there is glare.
Come on people, too obvious!

me thinks thats just the light shining on it

Shopped. That`s a pic of a doberman. If it was a REAL Chinese restaurant, it would be a picture of a retriever or a setter, because a doberman is just tough and stringy.

Asia has many completely normal McDonalds, save for translation presumably.
That would appear to at first glance with no other information be shameless piggybacking off of the logo/style.
