Same can be said the other way around by replacing "British" with "American" (though I try to refrain from using the word "American" in terms to those who live in the USoA, because it doesn`t make sense to me).
Dont start a flamewar over a drating picture of ONE ugly british woman
you can`t say america was surprisingly okay. america was just ok. you can`t say that because your country owns that fat greaseball, fatty mc fat fat.
and omfg brazil!!!!
Hey you guys!
I live near Liverpool and I can verify that it is not a country. They seem to have their own language though.....you can barely understand a thick Liverpudlian accent. :P

Sherry, are you high? From the OPENING SENTENCE on your own goddam link you provided:
The Americas are the lands of the Western hemisphere or New World, comprising the continents of North America and South America
Or THEIR spelling. X_x"
South America is a continent, and North America is a separate continent.
... I was just making my point, the USA shouldnt be called "America" its just wrong... Neither South america nor North america are continents... Those are called SUBDIVISIONS. Another example of these subdivisions are (in the case of Europe): northwestern european region, southwestern, mid-central european region, northeastern european region and southeastern european regions... any of those are called continents, simple because they are not.
and now im proud to say...i`m brazilian haha
looks like my neighbour though.. D:
Unless I`ve totally got my geography wrong...
It looks like she has a couple of soccer balls smuggled in her tube top ;)
Or THEIR spelling. X_x
^^^^ english female football fans ;)
but your right about liverpool!
And Liverpool is a city. Google is a resource for acquiring information (or porn). Had you used it, you`d have learned that the country whose initial are U.S.A is the United States of America, and so, "America" became a nickname of that country, an abbreviated form of the full name of said country.
Yeah, North America is a continent, but the United States of America is a country. So, referring to either one as "America" is technically correct. It is a language thing, I am sure you must have missed. When you say "America" in a context where you have a Statue of Liberty, and American flag reference, it should be assumed that you are talking about the country. =D
It`s because the only Liverpoolians that will ever be taken seriously are John, Paul, George, and Ringo.
wouldn`t her butt say "Deutschland" instead of english "Germany"
"America has football fans?"
Are you kidding? Guys hugging and kissing on any field and I`m a fan of that sport!
im a leeds fan, thats why.
