this just gives me a better understanding of how an owl can be the single most terrifying thing in the entire world to a feild mouse...
Two different bird *groups*. And seeing as crows habitually mob owls, not that irrelevant.
But which crow versus which owl? Actually forget that - even a Litte Owl is a bundle of malevolence, and could give a Raven a nasty surprise. The Eurasian Eagle Owl (as in the video) has been known to take Goshawks which are pretty bad mofos in their own right.
One time I was in the car with my dad and an owl flew under the front part and out the side as we were driving 50 MPH.
Two different birds. The former is irrelevant to this post.
Nightowl from watchmen was a weird-ass looking fellow who led a team of "heroes" that were cooler than him. (c`mon, who didn`t think dr. manhattan or rorschack could`ve been more awesome leaders?) also a blantant rip-off of batman soundtrack was lacking but had that song "take a bow" by muse which was rad.
conclusion... who cares?
A group of Crows is called a Murder.A group of Owls is called a parliament.
Crows are considered an agricultural pest.Owls are welcomed in farmers barns to control rodents.
The crow, a black shadowy reminder that we all meet an end and return to the dust of the earth. A symbol of death itself, often seen as an unsettling omen. Equipped with a startling intelligence that reminds us never to underestimate nature or her children.
The owl, a symbol of wisdom, a silent killer in the darkness of midnight. Giant eyes that watch you, placed inside a skull that swivels in nearly every direction so as to never miss a detail. Gifted with talons to shred the living flesh from its prey.
crows....owls look stupid as hell...
