i love how the cop had to sneak up behind the 67 year old man to taze him, with like 3 other cops in front of him distracting him. cops are the biggest fuccking ppussies ever and every single one of them should be brutally aass raped

That WAS EBM. It was confirmed as Thomas Bruso. Unless there is another Bruso who looks exactly the same, I think it`s him.

"Wow splurbyburbl way too take it to seriously. Cuz IAB needs their great savior to rescue us from the views of others."

You mean "too" seriously, right?

What a bunch of drating pussies you all are. This apprehension was text book. YOU go drating look it up! I don`t need to, I`m already trained. So, yeah... why don`t you go learn your damn facts. The bottom line is, these cops did exactly what they needed to and put everyone involved including the suspect in minimal danger within relation to how the suspect was reacting to their reasonable demands. His body language and words were in non-compliance. The reason they don`t touch a person in resistance unless absolutely necessary is because they don`t want a situation where the suspect grabs hold of one officer and does damage while the others try to pry him off. Instead they alleviate the threat to all with the zapper. So there are your goddamn facts.

-From your IAB troll.

@cobrakiller: How do you know he was unarmed? Typically the people causing enough problems that the police/security have to intervene are considered dangerous because they don`t abide by the normal rules of society and its better to assume that the guy causing a disturbance is more of a threat than less of one when there is a chance you could end up with a permanent disfigurement or worse.

Besides, if this really is the Epic Beard Man from the AC Transit Fight video, then you should know that in an interview after the bus incident he claimed he actually had a stabbing element on him since he`s been mugged multiple times.

@splurbyburbl... Listen mate you have as much tact as these cops... your right, they did try three times. The same thing three times. Hows that saying go? Something along the lines of, doing the same thing but expecting a different result..... I don`t know! Why don`t you go google it and spend time doing that rather than acting like a jerk-off!!

"Sir you need to leave" + "Okay officer, I`m sorry" + Leave = Not getting tazed.

Anything else, you deserve what you get!

slurpyburl, or they can restrain the man, hand cuff him and lead him out of the stadium, which is what the one officer was doing before the other came up from behind and tazed him for the final blow. if these officers werent such pussys they could have easily have gotten a hold on him and taken care of things another way. a few bruises will harm a person a whole lot less than excess voltage through their system.
its not like he had a weapon or anything, these were just cowardly cops taking the easiest possible road for themselves. but hey the almighty slurpyburl says it so it must be true.
trust me you ignorant bastard, police are trained to not use their tazers unless the assailant is running away, has a weapon, or physically assualts an officer. the man was sitting, he did not have a weapon, and did not attack any of the officers; so before you try to "fire them right back at them" know your facts.

"WOW!! i mean don`t they train officers to have tact. If one line of approach doesn`t work lets try another and if that don`t work try another, use tazers if he is abusive or violent... but hey that`s just me and my hippy ways talking!"

Oh goody! Another moron to pick on. Dude, pull your head from your enormous hippy ass. They did EXACTLY what you described and your hippie douche-bag brain could not compute the very sane, real, pracitcal and reasonable way in which the police handled the situation. Why? Well, you may just be that retarded...

I`m sorry IAB, these people just feed me the ammo, and I fire them right back at them. Don`t blame me!

"thats f*cked up, you should[`nt] taze people of that age, especially someone as unfit as that man. the electical pulse can really throw their entire nervous system off, as well as have detrimental effects on his cariac tissue."

Well, I suppose they can ask them nicely. Oh wait... they did... three times. Well, hmmm. Perhaps they could wave a gun around and... oh but, wait... then the crowd would freak out. So, aside from just letting him stay and disregarding the stadium rules and therefore setting a bad precedent, what can we do? OH WAIT, I KNOW! You can quit being such a drating pussy and just accept that it`s the goddamn procedure and the grown man was given enough drating chances.

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Oakland police Thursday defended the Tasering of 62-year-old Thomas Alex Bruso during Tuesday`s A`s game.

"Officers are explaining to him that he`s being ejected and they`re asking him to leave right now," said Jeff Thomason, Oakland Police Department spokesman.

Police said the 6`2", 280-pound Oakland man was drunk and belligerent and yelling profanities and slurs at A`s ushers. They said three police officers asked him to leave.

Thomason narrated a video of the incident: "The first officer tried to grab his right arm and it didn`t work. He`s pulling away. Right now, they deployed the Taser. It doesn`t have an effect on that person because only one prong has made contact with the individual. And now as he completes the connection, it`s having an effect."

Bruso was taken away under a "5150" hold, code for a mentally unstable person. He was taken to a San Leandro psychiatric facility and later discharged.

His listed address is an Oakland senior care facility. He did not answer KTVU`s calls for comment.

Pending charges include resisting arrest, refusing ejection and using profanity at the game.

A`s fans KTVU spoke with reacted to the incident in different ways. "It`s unfortunate that the guy got tasered," said Oakland resident Mark McDyy.

Some fans at Thursday`s A`s game against the Texas Rangers supported how police handled the incident. "It`s something they gotta do -- I guess -- if somebody gets out of hand," said Ben Delatorre of Hayward.

San Francisco Police confirmed to KTVU that Bruso has an arrest record in that city. A San Francisco shopping center filed a civil harassment claim against Bruso in 1994 and obtained a temporary restraining order.
