The GodMode is quite useful since every control option is in one spot. Aside from that it is nothing special really.

Macs need to start by having eject buttons on all their computers, then they can start to building up to something more divine.

... seriously only an idiot would design a computer that relies on the operating system to eject a CD. Your argument is invalid.

Macs are ludicrously queer, the only thing they`re really good for is pissing people off and getting used as hammers.

And GodMode really is just a n00b friendly settings place. you could do everything in there without having it. (basically it just makes things a tick easier)

Not only did opening it make my Windows crash, just clicking on it so I could try to delete it would make it crash. Finally managed to drag it into the recycle bin. Stupid 62-bit Vista.

Wow, sjaak. Thank you so much for explaining that to me. I thought for sure the egg had everything to do with the name of the folder and nothing to do with the duotrigesimal code after it.

Why is it that some Windows users HATE Apple, Macs and Mac users but most Mac users don`t really give a poo about Windows users except maybe to pity them?

I was a Windows user for many years and decided to check out a Mac just to see why people love them though I didn`t really think there would be much of a difference. But now I prefer Mac so...

I like macs because there are a lot of things that windows doesn`t offer that mac does. I like the fact that I can go on my computer and not get attacked by viruses. Also, macs are easier to back up and navigate around. I think some ppl hate macs only because they themselves didn`t now how to work it or didn`t put the effort in to learn how to use it.

Wouldn`t it be great if they put all this effort into making a stable platform for your applications that didn`t crash all the time?

Windows 7? Hell, they haven`t even gotten all the bugs out of XP! Call me when you release Service Pack 3...

    Your missing 2 bits, that`s why it`s crashing ;)

Works fine on my Windows 7 (64 bits), now I just delete the stuff that I never use and voila a personalized control panel, sweet!

i have nothing to say about god mode... what i would like to call to attention tho is:

During her years at CNET News, Ina Fried has changed beats several times, changed genders once, and covered both of the Pirates of Silicon Valley. These days, most of her attention is focused on Microsoft. E-mail Ina.
