I remember hearing about this back when it happened. These chicks were using rufies to rob dudes by posing as hookers then knocking them out and stealing their wallet but the midgets were so small the rufies killed them instead. Pretty weird story though none the less.

"This just made my decade; what could be more unlikely and yet remain so opportune?"

Why do you consider this to be opportune?

wasnt this on 1000 ways to die? "

Nope, those were different wrestling midgets. The one on 1000 ways to die rammed his head into a 2x4 in a wall.

This was old news, the fake hookers wanted to steal their wallets by drugging them so they fall asleep.

but because they were small, the normal amount killed them.

"Contrary to what you may have read in Xaviera Hollander`s book `The Happy Hooker`, the `prostitute` sense of "hooker" does NOT derive from Joseph `Fighting Joe` Hooker (1814-1879), a major general on the Union side of the U.S. civil war, whose men were alleged to frequent brothels. `Hooker` in this sense goes back to 1845; the US Civil War did not begin until 1861. It may come from the earlier sense of `thief` (which goes back to 1567, `to hook` meaning to steal), or it may refer to prostitutes` linking arms with their clients. A geographical Hook (Corlear`s Hook in New York City, or the Hook of Holland) is also possible." (Reference)

fun fact- the term hooker was derived from sergeant hooker`s district in D.C. for prostitution :D.
that`s right. a red-light district right next to the whitehouse. sexy.

Although it appears real, I`m surprised a genuine newspaper would use the word "midgets" when it is an insulting term. The preferred nomenclature is "little person" but I guess "midget wrestling" is what they call it.

Notice that the name of the gang suspected
of orchestrating this crime is known as "The Leak" or "The Drops". How apropos for a group using hookers to kill.

Are these the guys from the Feast movies? (for the 3 people out there that have seen Feast 1-3... then again, it`s thanks to imdb that I saw those movies thanks to the posting of the infamous baby tossing scene from Feast 3).
