Don`t assume you know what someone else is thinking and then take a moral high ground makes you look like a A-hole and please learn the proper meaning of irony.
if we can`t be cool with making fun of each other`s imaginary guys, then all there is left to do is kill each other...
That is not a true statement. There is, and has been, doubt that he existed. There are no extant contempory references to him. There are plenty of later references once Christianity became an issue in the Roman empire, but that`s not the same thing.
Personally I think there is sufficient evidence to conclude that there was a man (not called Jesus, but that`s a minor detail) ~2000 years ago who preached a reform of Judaism that split Judaism and formed Christianity, but to say that there is not and never has been any doubt that he existed is simply wrong.
He said "To hell with all of this"Then he blew a farewell kissTo be all knowing is quite stressfulWhile ignorance is bliss
Ignorance is bliss
Straight from the video storeBilly`s marching off to warI heard they called our Lady Libertya greasy little whoreWell the market`s on the boilWe`re down a couple quarts of oilThe President`s reactingLike an old near-sighted mohel
I`ll see you on the other sideAs our heads implode from blind prideTry to remember these words:
Ignorance is bliss (x3)
Try to remember this:Ignorance is bliss
its not that they drew a big phat spunky knob on mo`s head that is the problem, its the fact that ANY image of the great prophet is a slander upon him.
Like if you drew him in a threesome with drew barrymore, maddonna & 80`s sam fox, they`d still be as pissed off as if you drew him taking aids up the bum from freddy mercury.
get yer facts straight before you slander. makes you look less (well a little) of a dick :D
So you reckon jesus was a white dude then ?
Also, to anyone baulking the right to protest thing, y know, thats what makes YOUR country different to everyone elses. You CAN protest without getting shot.
Its a luxury, and sure, if people you do not like are opposing a different viewpoint to that of yours, you can go out and protest against em yerself. or snipe on an image boards comments.
Not even by lineage. First off, there are two separate lineages given in the Bible by two separate "authors". A) they don`t match and b) there are breaks in the matrilineal line. According to Jewish law, Jesus was not a "true" Jew because of those jumps.
Let the flame war begin.
Jewish by faith and lineage but Palestinian by ethnicity. Opiebreath`s pic was a lot more accurate than the anglo image of popular culture.
i rode into town on an ass... yo mama`s ass!!
Jesus was born in Israel, in the middle east. He was, according to anyone who ever recorded history on him, Galilean (descended from David, king of Israel).
So... if the only records of Jesus say he`s Galilean...
Are Galilean people white?
Nope. Guess Jesus isn`t white.
Are Galilean people black?
Nope. Guess he`s not black.
So what ethnicity could this Galilean man be?
Well, I might be wrong here, but I`m gonna go out on a limb and say Galilean.
I`m all for freedom of speech, but I`ve had enough of these guys.

unless Rick edited that in later I`d say: learn to read und cite properly.
... Unless of course you don`t believe. Right? You seem to have left that out.
In the pic I see many targets for my egg-o-pult.
This is sad. People need accept one another and move on. Everyone seems to miss the fact that hate breeds hate. If they want to see a better world they need to start with themselves.
The only thing spanish in that whole scene is the sign. That guy is wearing Nautica, which is a brand name, not spanish clothes.
With a citibank? You realize that there are a lot of different languages that are used abundantly within North America, right?
On another note, I like the raised eyebrow on Jesus. "Whatchu lookin` at?"
And, since everyone has either Spanish on their clothing or on a sign, I`d guess this is a Spanish-speaking country.
I love comments like that. There isn`t, and never has been, any doubt at all that he existed, either from Christians (obviously) or from non-religious sources. The only debate is whether he was the Son of God or just a troublemaking carpenter.
At the end of the day though, what does it matter. These crazy sorts are the reason I will never get into religion.
I know, right??
