I saw this video months ago and used it to prove to my skeptical friends that it is possible to sing that song.

Well excuse me for only seeing it a week ago!

This is amazing. I have always loved the Diva Dance, and the Fifth Element in general, but I have never seen this done live before. It is perfect, even the parts that are altered in the movie this singer nails. Cute girl, if you are reading this, please marry me.
The original version was obviously a sampled computer voice
The original was sung by Inva Mula. There`s one spot where I think it wasn`t properly her and that stands out because it`s not a human voice. It`s a wind instrument. That`s a second or two around 4:15 on this clip:

The link here on IAB isn`t really the right one. IAB has linked to a copy of the video, not the video uploaded by the singer. The video is the same apart from the lack of the HQ button (which does nothing for the sound), but she might be counting her video views or something. Besides, it`s good manners to link to the original from the artist rather than a copy of it from someone who couldn`t even be bothered to copy her name into the info.

Here`s the original, uploaded by the singer:

I was in two minds about clicking on this, because it`s the sort of thing that would be horribly screechy if not done right and it would take a lot more talent than most people on Youtube have to do it right. But she has enough talent.

She sings a lot of rather bland Disney songs. She sings them very well and there are some demos that were professionally recorded in a studiio and therefore have much better sound quality even on Youtube. Like this one:

But she has enough voice for more passionate stuff. There`s a vid of her singing a classical soprano version of "Summertime". It`s just her in a house. Not the best acoustics. Not the best quality recording either. It`s a more passionate song, though.

THAT WAS FREAKING INCREDIBLE!!! Her range is amazing, and I can`t believe (like hbelle stated) that she was able to replicate the computerized sample from the movie with as much perfection as she did! `Twas flawless!!!

that was sick. Especially just shot in one take. They probably did all kinds of alterations in the film to pull off what this girl just did. Unreal.

Holy POO.

Impressive, to say the least. I really thought that section of the song was a synth, I had no idea a human voice could alternate such a massive pitch change that fast.

JESUS CHRIST!!!!! i`d never thought this was actually possible without voice mod things

Facial expressions really do take away from it, but considering the filters used on the vocals in the film, this is DAMN impressive. That is some crazy vocal juggling in a couple spots.

lol @ the facial expressions it takes to make the sounds. Still, one of my favorite parts of the movie was the Diva Opera, and she did it very well!
