Now if we can just get this sign inside movie theaters, airplanes and classrooms, the world would be a little nicer.

Whenever I go to a concert - be it heavy metal or classical symphony - I always yell, "No new crap! Play `Takin` Care of Business`!- the `Workin` Overtime` part!"

splurby, I am not sure if you realize this, but all creative artistic people who are famous enough for you to pay for are LIBERALS.

It is that flexibility of mind and tolerance thing that is especially high in artists.

Enjoy,
S*D

@IkeRay

I`m fine with people singing, but not when they are louder than the band.

dfcrackhead:

Maybe you`ve never been to the kind of concerts where your ear drums aren`t blasted out. "Concert" can be used for all sorts of venues and who even said this was a concert? It says "venue"!

there are a few theaters that actually are adult only. They charge 30 bucks for kids if you REALLY wanna bring em. The adult price is about 4-5 bucks more then usual theater pricing (totally worth it) and they have alcohol!

"How about a sign that says: "Leave your little bastard children at home because they`re f**king annoying!""

I wish. Oh, if only someone would offer "Child-free" flights/movies/etc. I`d GLADLY pay extra for such a service. *Begs*

If I saw that sign at a cinema and they implemented it as policy, I`d start going to the cinema again. As it is, I`d only go to a cinema if I could casually afford to hire all the seats so I could sit by myself in peace and watch and listen to the film, not some pointless burbling from other people.

I love that sing. More people should heed its words. It`s so annoying when people are all loud at shows and disrupt the flow.

It is a sad day when you have to make a sign to tell people what the should have been thaught by their parents when they where young.

splurbyburbl, thats lame of u to say. why should a person censor themselves to avoid annoying u when music is about expression. whatever reason u like them should keep u coming to their concerts not their political views.

Hmmm, someone tell that to "some" artists. For instance, once Eddie Vedder impaled a President Bush mask on his microphone stand during a concert. Well, I didn`t pay good money for tickets to go see somebodies view on politics, I came to see a concert. If I wanted politics, I would watch TV.

The wife and I went to see Avatar in Real 3D last night (GO, pay the ticket prices! JUST GO!), and at the -5 minute mark, we were greeted by a rather large theater employee at the front of the seating incline:

"Folks, I`d like to take this moment to welcome you all to the show, and to tell you that anyone caught talking on their cells phones, texting, or otherwise disturbing the other patrons WILL be escorted from the building without warning, without refund.

"Further, management has decided that, after many complaints, theatergoers who are ejected will also be banned from this theater for a month. Repeat offenders may be banned for life.

"Thank you, and enjoy the show!"

Best 5-minute-mark warning I`ve ever heard! LMAO

What kind of concert was it that you could hear people talking to their pals?

I saw Tori Amos once, and she stopped playing to have a go at someone talking at the back. It was a very small gig though.

I`ve only ever been to one classical concert and the loads of loud rock/metal concerts.. in both you can`t really hear people talking...
