Aaand the creepy stalkers out there just put a little pin in their maps on the wall, right on Portland.
I`ve never seen that place (I looked it up and it`s in NW, and I`m rarely ever in that part of town), but I wonder if they`d have cleaned my suit for free for my interview for the grad school at UofP.
Also, opiebreath, if you`re in Portland you`re not in the Midwest.
1) There`s the chance someone`ll find out and then you`ll be known as the selfish, good-for-nothing prick. Reputation and social perception are the cornerstones of morality.
2) You probably have more than 1 suit and taking only 1 suit to one place and then all your other clothes to another place is too much work!
Happy bubble officially burst. :C
Sweden actually but point taken, I suppose my view is skewed because I live in a tiny country where unemployment is much more noticeable so I can`t really comment on the US.
thats the sad thing about our society. someone reaches out to help and everyone takes advantage. it`d be one thing if this was a huge chain and made hand over fist money (like a bank) but this guy probably personally owns the equipment and is reaching out and getting taken.
I wonder how many bums get free clean clothes.
Yup. That`s more like the humanity we know.
"Momentarily", because it was probably less that an hour after that sign went up that more than one employed person tried to get a free cleaning.
They are in New York
