Life Really Does Imitate Art In This Case [Pic]

Submitted by: fancylad 7 years ago

What are the chances that the photographer just happened to stumble across this scene at the park and took a lucky shot?

Is there any reason the woman in the front has a rain umbrella and not a sun umbrella?

i think it was posed. caution tape in the back as well as i find it ironic that every body is just... smiling. no laughing not talking just satring out into the lake with a grin.

Well of course it`s set up! You can clearly see the stiff postures of some of the people trying to keep their place, like the woman in the white shirt and jeans w/ the umbrella facing us or the woman with the hat by the sailboat.

Wow, that`s so clever. This has got to be a set up, there`s no way that is a coincedence, but awesome nonetheless.

SUNDAAAAAAAY!

Brilliant. Competence for the sake of recreating art.

...I still prefer the live painting in the musical though.

Not that good, the photographer clearly did not have enough models to actually duplicate all the people in Seurat`s original.

i`m not saying it`s fake, i am saying it`s very possible though. look at the lady in the red shirt, blue short shorts. if that`s supposed to be running, it looks like a pretty posed position.

This was done awesomely.

of course, they could have improved it, but for what I`m sure is just rounding up volunteers and posing them for an ameteur shot, this was pretty good.

Umbrellas were actually invented for hot, sunny days so that one could carry around shade with them.
