Every minute 20,000 people search for a Miley Cyrus, Jonas Bros. or other tween pop video on YouTube just to leave a snarky comment. And 2,000,000 people post the comment "I`d bang that" on various sites.

Maybe.

@ Napoleon & Naranaru
That is what they make a minute including when they aren`t working so the time away from the job making $0.00 is averaged into the time spent making their actual pay. So the $7.80 an hour napoleon calculated would be being payed to them when they are on or off the clock at work.

@MattPrince

I know, climategate is a bit retarded argument, but i reckon the sort of people who believe in global warming are the sort of people who believe every retarded bullpoo they`re told, so I try the climategate argument and see if that shuts `em up.

of course, it REALLY doesn`t matter whether there`s GW or not; what matters is whether politicians steal gazillions of dollars to "fight" the "global warming", and that won`t happen if people don`t buy their crap. politicians say: "there`s GW and that`s why we have to steal these gazillions of dollars." and we have to say, "no, there isn`t GW, put it back, f*ckers," no matter if there is GW or if there isn`t. because if we admit there is GW, they`ll steal our money.

on the photos: too bad we don`t have a time machine; I`d love to show you how the glacier looked in 1000 AD and then in 1700 AD. and I bet that by 2500 it`s gonna be covered in snow again.

>If you still believe in Adam Smith you missed 2008, which was the year Capitalism died, nice try.

erm, no. 2008 was the year the real estate market naturally shrinked after being unnaturally expanded by Greenspan`s extremely cheap credit (and by the mere existence of the monetary policy that DISTURBS the nature of market, for that matter), dragging banking system and the economy down. which, of course, has nothing to do with market failures.

and pls, pretty pls with a little sugar on the top, DON`T TALK ABOUT SH*T YOU DON`T KNOW A F*CK ABOUT, PUNK

Who cares, lets treat it as FACT.

I disagree with the Nike one...it doesn`t take into account cost so it makes them seem like they make more than they actually do.

"Statistics show that 90% of statistics are made up on the spot."
Yeah but only 13% of the time

"there is no global warming and there will be no floods and droughts, ffs. come on, people, i thought we`re finally over with this after the climategate."

Unfortunately, the AGW supporters will just up the ante, they will say it is getting worse (obviously, with absolutely no evidence). Anyway, I don`t want to start a flame-war here.

>the weak people that do have money would survive, and surely thats not a good thing.

au contraire. the fact that someone gave them money means that they were somehow useful for someone. they produce services that other people reckon useful, and are willing to pay for these services. and that`s what we need, useful people. people that are so useful that we are willing to pay them so much that they can stay alive. i don`t care if someone is disabled, the only thing that matters is how much he can offer to the society. and that is approximately the same that the society is willing to offer him through his employer - i.e. his wage.

HAIL THE INVISIBLE HAND!

"we have to let weak people die no matter how vile that may sound, or we all gonna live in terrible poverty in 50 years!"

This is natural law called "Survival of the Fittest"! We cannot evolve socioeconomically, on a global scale, without following this law!

@Corydoras87

what needs to happen is that governments stop giving money to people who can`t take care of themselves. unless they stop it, there will be more and more people, and less and less resources for everyone. we need less children to be born, you`re right, but for that, we need less potential parents in the first place. we have to let weak people die no matter how vile that may sound, or we all gonna live in terrible poverty in 50 years!

0
Reply
Male 1,153
corydoras, i agree, but its ok. sooner or later the earth wil undergo an event that restores balance. This`ll be global warming,and there will be many deaths from floods and droughts. But humans will generally survive as there is plenty of room for us on the planet if we keep killing off other animals and stealing their homes.

so the main thing that says is 250 births against 107 deaths.. way too much births.. people should die or earth will explode :-P no really.. there should be more people that die than new people born for some time and then it should equal to keep a stable population.. I mean it`s that what we do to animals.. we need someone do it to us :-P of course nobody, including me wants to die voluntary.. so we need to give less birth.. 1 child per family is more than enough I however prefer not to produce a sidekick of me

McGovern, that`s $0.13 per minute, every minute of every day. Assuming a 40 hour working week I think that comes out as $32.76 per hour or $68,140 per year. Seems reasonable to me for an average IT wage.
