That was a cool story, they did it more in depth locally. The woman was on her way to a class, and the operator was fired for ignoring the button the father hit to signal the doors to open.

Now, that woman is a nice person. She probably missed her train doing that, and she still did it without a moment of thought.

You can see the moment where the dad is like "Now, say thankyou to the nice lady"

He`s so lucky that woman was there to care for the child. Imagine if the child had been left alone!

"Why didn`t parental unit pull the emergency stop?"

He did. It`s an intercom and the operator did not respond. THe operator is in trouble.

"How did the dad get back so quickly?"

According to the timer at the bottom, there´s an 8 minute cut from 08:13 to 08:21 around 40 seconds into the clip. He got off next station and took the first train back. It´s great that the woman stayed with him. What a nightmare for parents.

Did you guys really want to sit and watch the girl sit the boy for 20 minutes waiting for dad?

what you don`t know is that the kid had already been kidnapped so the kind woman just helped out the pedo. there`s a grey cloud for every silver lining. :P

I`m glad there was a decent woman to look after the kid for a while. This could`ve turned into a horror story real quick had she not been there, either with the kid trying to get back on the train or some freak coming by and getting the little guy. Phew. :D

I think I would have freaked out and kicked the door open. I wouldn`t care if it broke, that`s my son out there.

I wonder if the guy tried kicking the door down. Doesn`t look like it.

This is news because the stranger on the platform was a good samaritan and not a kidnapping pedophile? Or just the door malfunctioned and the operator hated people? My brain hurts thinking about the news aspect of this.

Thank you phunknsoul.

Good to know it all ended well and that there are good people out there.

Acctualy there are allways good people out there...most of use are good people. Modern media just makes us think otherwise!

But eitherway...that father had 10 years removed from his life (parents will know what I mean) because of a "malfunction"! Worst part is, the "emergency" part of the train service was ignored! That needs resolving asap!

They train comapany needs to be accountable for that!

Very cool outcome.
Man, when I got separated from my mom when I was little she smacked me on the head with a rolled up newspaper when she found me and yelled "Don`t ever do that again"! Apparently it was my fault? :/

god, that would be the most terrifying thing in the world
--------------------------------------------------

As a parent I can tell you it is! That is the stuff nightmares is made of!

But (I assume + hope) it all ended happily (since it appears to be his Dad coming to collect him) and no real harm done.

But still...I can imagine how his mother feels. Sheesh..I freak out if my 12 yr old is home 10 mins late.

Yeah yeah...flame the parent who cares / worrys!

Oh god look at him in his little puffy jacket and backpack. Toddlers are seriously the cutest things on the planet. It was so adorable when he hugged that lady!

That must be absolutely terrifying though.

wow,l that brought a tear to my eye when he hugged that lady. Sooo lucky she was there otherwise it could`ve ended so horribly in a number of ways...

I must admit, if I were him I would`ve hugged my boy longer than he did though. But maybe he knew the lady was taking care of the kid so he wasn`t too stressed :/
