The Ultimate Raw Fish

It has a big, bulbous head, beady black eyes and eight squirming tentacles. It"s the octopus.

this is absolutely abhorrent. octopuses are intelligent animals - they can be trained like dogs for drat`s sake!

then again, they eat dogs in korea too.

i`m glad people choke on the octopuses - a last kick in the face from karma thanks to the octopus.

premierwondr - Whether you view it as acceptable or not has absolutely nothing to do with maturity. Again the fact you went on to name call puts your own maturity into question because I would like to believe that if someone is getting the education you say you are, that they can accept other peoples views without getting personal.

I do compare us to wild animals. Millions of years of instinct doesn`t suddenly vanish over night. To survive we do go out and gather food and find a mate, regardless whether or not we call it shopping and getting married. When push comes to shove, we will do what we must to survive and it can lead to survival of the fittest.

We are nothing more than animals. To call us smart or smarter is debatable.

And to be quite honest, I really just don`t give a **** how other people eat food, about this or any octopus or how people kill animals. I have more important things to worry about.

Bremir you would really equate yourself to a wild animal? You live to eat and reproduce? You would tear apart another human for food or a mate? Lets not justify eating animals alive because other animals do thats a bit of an oversimplification (other living things do it so it must be ok?)
Also nothing really comes between an adult and a child, I was immature in high school and now in my second year of college I`m getting close to real maturity. However, I have matured enough to realize when something is cruel and not say AWESOME!!!1! like my 10 year old brother would do

premierwondr - A lion wouldn`t think twice about killing and eating a human alive. They don`t whinge about it. Such a horrible thing humans kill an animal for food to survive or, God forbid, eat it raw and alive like the rest of the animals.

Your second post is ridiculous, by the way. It has nothing to do with intelligence nor maturity. To be honest with you to attack other users because of their views is hardly mature. I`m also confused as to what you think comes between adult and child. Of course the only other people who share the same opinion, as well as other adults, are teenagers/kids.

we were offered this "dish" when holidaying in s. korea. i didn`t watch all of this clip so i don`t know if they did the same thing to the poor octo - they popped a tentacle in the tourist`s mouth and then snipped it off with a pair of scissors. are there not more tastier food on offer there or summit? sick...

Hey Dfaulted- being eaten alive is a pretty natural death for almost any animal. Way more natural than a cow being imprisoned their whole life and eventually electrocuted with an anal probe.

I`d rather be eaten alive by a bear or a shark than by cancer.

Oh yeah, TheSharpist, I eat my opponents still beating hearts all the time. Now this video makes total sense.

Actually, I think this video is pretty rad. I like tako- octopus sushi- but I don`t know if I`d be game to put a living cephalopod in my mouth.

"why do people believe that the grosser something is the more strength you get from eating it?"

It`s not really that weird. Think about it: when you eat your defeated opponent`s heart, you gain his courage. How is this so different? It happens all the time, just with a beating human heart instead of an octopus .
