Submitted by: Tearon 7 years ago Misc

Another 4 minute video that packs in some amazing computer rendering and animation. Why can"t all movies be like this?

Wow, Sam Raimi`s `Ghost House` has just signed the director with a 30 million dollar budget, to create a film based on this... Nice work.

This video costed 300 dollars to make, if you don´t believe me, go here, it´s an article about the director of the video from the website of a trusted uruguayan newspaper, it´s in spanish.

Is it just me or does the sound for the flying mini-gun pods weapons sound like the Heavy`s minigun from TF2

This doesn`t show this guy`s skill in directing.... but it isn`t supposed to. If he wanted to do that, he would have hired some actors and created a cohesive plot. This would be submitted as an addition to his resume, not something that would be entered into a film competition.

The song "Panic Attack" by Dream Theater should have been playing

pretty cool, though you can notice some animation mess up every now and then, like when smoke disappears before scene transition and stuff... but still fun to watch

"Why does everyone think that aliens are more advanced and want to destroy us"

You imply there are aliens. That is beside the point, however. It would be logical to deduce any extraterrestrial race that travels here (of all places) can easily kick ass and be bored doin` it.

Feiku : Watch something like REC, where the incosistencies are small, and the pace fast enough to carry you across the cracks.

However, I agree this is a CGI showcase, and a pretty good one, but *dammit* I demand more! Where`s the sense of awe and wonder I once got from the opening sequence of Star Wars episode IV?

I like how everyone is pointing out the logical inconsistencies with this short film. Since when did action-esque movies ever make sense? I think the film was made more to show his skill with filming and computer rendering/animation rather than his ability to put together a cohesive plot.

That video was awesome with the computer rendering and all,but on a side note did anyone else think that for machinery that advanced the weapons were kinda primitive? and what was the point of the giant robots attacking when they ended up jus bombing everything? lol.
