Shame it wasn`t his choice to be picked up like that. I guess he learned the hard way not to stray too close to the pit!

At mayhem festival last year the singer from Disturbed stopped the show and told us he was watching a guy fight through the mosh pit (amazing pit btw) to get a front row seat and that the guy was in a weelchair. He invited the guy backstage because he respected the guy. And that is one of the many reasons I love Disturbed. They respect their fans because their fans respect them.

I`ve seen a pic exactly like this...except it took place in the daytime.

Are wheelchair crowd-skaters common now?

Mosh pits here are pretty tame. If someone gets hurt, everyone will help them up and apologize. It`s almost creepy.

"
i was ina mosh pit once where this woman fell, nearly got crushed, someone nicked my phone, i was th only one who helped the woman and im 5"4, small, she was about 5"8ish and big. Mosh pits over here are cruel. But then again it was a lost prophets mosh pit (not a lp gig, it was a festival)"

A LostPhrophets moshpit was too intense?

Never go to a Slipknot concert.

I`ve had mostly favorable experiences with mosh pits. They haven`t been tame, but I`m not scarred for life or anything. This guy rocks

"Another time some guy stopped the whole pit because he found a cell phone on the ground."

um you definitely have never been in a mosh pit then. I have seen someone get laid out and his shoes taken off and chucked into the crowd. You must have been moshing at a simon and garfunkle concert

The rule of mosh pits is that if anyone falls, you pick them up. If you don`t, I think it is called a certain kind of move... yes, I believe it is called a "dick move"

For being a swirling vortex of flailing limbs and unabashed aggression, mosh pits are actually really people friendly places. I too once had an entire mosh pit stop, but it was because I fell. They picked me back up, asked if I was okay and then it was back to business as usual. I`ve never once had a bad mosh experience and I`ve been to my fair share of metal shows.

Whenever I mosh I get picked up by nice people. At one point I remember being perfectly sideways except not on the ground. o_o Some nice guy helped me up then pushed me.

Yeah, in my experiences with mosh pits, most people are pretty cool, they just help you up and continue with their business. But then there`s people that are just total d*cks and punch and stuff.

Also, that`s awesome.

metalheads are actually quite nice in moshpits i`ve found. if you fall they general pick you up and then continue to slam you against other people. maybe that`s just because i`m a girl. haha

@TadnJess Yess!!!!!

@mlr1021 Agreed, as long as it is a certain group of people doing this with him that know what they`re doing and can make sure nobody gets their face sliced by a wheelchair :)
