We"ve all seen hundreds of "Lost Cat" signs, but apparently the "Found Cat" signs are even better and more Awwww worthy.

Awz! The cat looks exactly like my kitty Meiko!!!

Thing is people who feel sorry for the person who lost this cat, need to realize that the person said few months. if they cared that much posters would have appeared immediately.

Plus the cat is obviously ell taken care of and with someone who loves it ^^

In one way this is sad and another it`s nice. It`s nice that he let the old owner know the cat was alright, but as an animal lover if I had a pet that was lost, I`d be heartbroken knowing someone found them and didn`t give them back. :(

You can`t blame the person who made this poster. He did (supposedly) try to find the owner. And if you don’t care enough that your cat got lost to put up posters for months, then you don’t deserve your cat!

this person was high on ecstasy during the entire production process of this sign. From conception to posting, they were so f*cking high.

And what is this about cats that are loved never getting lost? Right. Well I`m impressed if you have your eye on your cat every single second of every day. And if the dude didn`t want the cat in the first place, he probably wouldn`t have put up a missing poster for it.

That is so not heartwarming. Basically even after he found a poster for this lost kitten, he decided to keep it because he was "too attached". Bet the person who originally bought the kitten and is probably still grieving over it is real grateful. It would be sweet if he hadn`t found any way to contact the owner, but he had.

So ... yeah.

He/she basically stole someone`s lost kitten?

I mean, yeah, maybe it had worms, but you don`t take someone`s pet and keep it as your own.

I wish that more people were like that. We found my cat when I was 2 in our driveway with no collar, roaming around. Gave her some food, took her around the neighborhood asking if anybody lost a gray and white cat.
Well, come bath time she was a black and white cat. Unclaimed, mine, 18 years old and addicted to cheese, mac and cheese, and other dairy >.>

I disagree with everyone who thinks the dude is an ass...if somebody really loved their cat they wouldn`t have lost it in the first place. My cat has escaped when I opened the door before and I always noticed and always snatched her up right away so the guy who rescued him obviously really cared about the kitten.

I found a cat last year and put up found signs right away. I got a call from someone who claimed his friend owned the cat, but that she didn`t have a place to live where she could keep it at the time. He said he`d pass my number on to her. She called me a couple days later and said she`d get the cat- which she didn`t. I called her again, she said something came up and that she`d get the cat- noshow again. After three more months, I heard from the dude who originally called me. He left a message saying that the owner was back in town and was getting back on her feet and that she misses her cat and wanted her back. He didn`t leave a number, but said she`d call me. I nearly lol`d my pants. Thankfully she never called, because I was gonna tell her to [email protected] the [email protected] off.

I don`t think this is aww worthy at all.
He should have put up a "found cat" sign right away. I see those all the time where I live.
Just because he didn`t see any signs up right away doesn`t mean that none were put out. Cats can travel for a long time, so who knows how far away from it`s home it is.
Seems like a bitch move to me. If the cat was being abused or something it`s understandable but there is no evidence here that supports that except for "the cat and worms and parasites". Doesn`t mean the owner didn`t care for the cat they probably either didn`t realize it or couldn`t afford the vet bill at that time.
Or the cat picked them up in between getting loose and being picked up by the person who made this poster. Parasites are naturally common in many animals.

I can see their actions as being understandable as long as they`re telling the truth about not seeing the "lost cat" poster until months later, but some people are making them out to be some sort of paragon of saintly kindness and that`s really not the case.

A sign saying "I know you`re looking for your pet. I have your contact details. But I`m keeping your pet for myself anyway, because I want to." is not that nice.

this drater ever hear of a "found" poster? instead he gets a "i`m so great poster i`m keeping the cat". he wants an award for treating the cat like he should?"

It says the guy had to get the cat dewormed and removed parasites, clearly the original owner didnt do a good job, so yeah, the guy deserves a medal. Instead he got the world cutest cat. ^_^`

"My note would`ve been a bit different: "I found your goddam cat and choked the living hell out of it for you. You are welcome""

When ever I see someone make a comment like that, finding pleasure in torturing and killing animals, I am reminded that one of the early warning signs of a serial killer is a history of abusing animals.

Probably not the impression that anyone here wanted to make, but it is important when one is trying to be a flaming sphincter, not to go overboard and come off looking like a psychopath.

Awww I should have done that for my Libby-kins ten years ago - she was obviously an indoor cat (not to mention full grown, so she had been indoors all her life) and had gotten kicked out and was sitting, not moving, scared crapless in a church parking lot. 10 years later she`s still my angel!

It is the responsibility of the person who loses the cat to try and find it, via posters and stuff and also the person to find it to also find it`s owner, well he said he didn`t see any posters around for months, so he seems to be taking good care of the cat I think if it went to court that guy would be able to keep it..
0
Reply
Male 604
Yeah that`s not theft, it`s kidnapping.

You know cats can catch all those parasites FROM being lost outside. Plus, maybe the kitten was mostly an outdoor cat, which a lot of people`s cats safely are, and it took the owners a little longer to realize it was missing.

And that poster could have been at the laundromat a really long time. I would be really upset if I was the cat owner and I find out someone just took him! That`s just cruel.

That`s how I got my Cat #2. She was so tiny, running around by herself at night covered in fleas. She followed me and meowed at me, wanting something to eat. I took her home, fed her, got rid of the fleas, and searched for weeks looking for "lost cat" signs, never saw one. Then I took her to the vet and she was NOT FIXED. If I hadn`t taken care of her she would probably have hundreds of baby kittens running around by now.

Gloostikk... I always had the mental picture of a fat hairy man who posts videos of himself on xtube (hatefully fapping in his truck in front of a playground?). Even a tiny dick can get a compliment on that site. The kind of guy that needs to feel bigger than something. You know? Cats are easy targets.

It`s probably also a substitution for problems he has or had with his mother since we have the obvious kitty/cat/pussy/vagina slang thing going on.

We just have to be understanding of his position and realize that without the violence towards cats, he would probably be out there killing all women who smell like his mother.

@Max_Normal:

It`s not theft, it`s rescue.

I deal with this crap all the time. I live in an apartment complex, and there`s quite a few people who get pets, let them out, and then don`t bother to do anything for them after that.

Over the past 5 years, my wife and I have spent over $15,000 taking these animals to the vet, feeding them, and finding them loving homes where they`re cared for and NOT treated like disposable items.

If you honestly think that`s theft, don`t ever own a pet. Or have a child, for that matter.

Totally reminds me of how my cat came to live with us. He visited our house all the time and We didn`t know it had an owner till a MONTH later (In winter with deep snow), and flyers FINALLY started going around (ended up being the neighbor 4 houses over). I knew the people, they didn`t deserve the cat. They left their barking dog in the back yard every day, all winter with no heat when they`d go to work. Some people like animals, but shouldn`t own animals.
They eventually got 2 more cats, and one was run over this summer due to the busy road we live on where their cats roam all the time. (saw it squished, in the road). -_-

If you don`t take your cat to the wet, and won`t even bother to put up posters until months later, you don`t deserve to have a cat. It`s not an object, it`s a pet. You have responsibility for those.

"This is not a nice person, this is a thief. If anyone stole my cat and then bragged about it"

your dumb. if you read the beginning she says she found him in front of a bar. the owners didnt have enough skillz to keep a baby kitten in a house then they do not deserve to have a kitten. plus the lady gave the kitten all his shots before she found the sign. i wouldn`t give him up either. but she was nice enough to let the owner know that the kitten is ok and didnt drown in the sewer or something

This is not a nice person, this is a thief. If anyone stole my cat and then bragged about it, I`d have to get all chimpy on their face. The real owner of this cat cared enough to put posters up, and the cat could have got the paracytes after it had got lost. Could have belonged to a child or an old lady. Very, very selfish.

Definitely being passive-aggressive in my opinion. He`s basically bragging that the cat had worms and was lovable so he took care of it and when the owner was looking for the cat he decided not to give it back.

Do you know how expensive those are? I`m glad the kitty is happy and all but it seems like the guy just basically made all these assumptions and in his own head tried to twist it around to make it okay for him to keep it.

@ Miquaight: You would be surprised at how many people abandon or don`t care about their own pets.

I think this person had the right idea in putting that poster up. I mean if you aren`t even going to look for your lost kitten until a month later, that just shows how irresponsible you are as a pet owner.
Kudos to the person who found the kitten, gave it proper vet treatment and gave it a good home.
