Remember the person who drove through the puddle at the bus stop and soaked the hell out of those innocent kids?

I say Karma does NOT exist. That`s not the universe puishing someone for something. That`s an idiot putting up evedince of their "crime" thinking it was no big deal. Some one thought it was if they bothered to figure out who that was and fine em. Not karma just stupidity. Mystery solved Karma does not exist.

I hope that was a one way street, because I`m pretty sure driving on that side of the road is a bigger offense than making kids wet on a rainy day.

Yet more proof that when you commit a crime the best thing to do is record it then post it on-line, no one will ever know it was you.

Officers said the 29-year-old woman had voluntarily contacted them and was interviewed on Sunday.

Thats not Karma - its either she was feeling guilty about what she did or she is just plain stupid.

Maybe a few months of suspension for both of them and having to take the bus themselves will humble them.

Getting splashed on the side of the road is NOT fun.

I mean, you might as well just stop your car, get out, take a bucket of water and drench them that way.

NOOOO you`d rather not get your ass kicked.

@Rhinosaur: Puddle splash can distract drivers and pedestrians, I suppose. Aside from careless and reckless driving, it`s assault, kind of. Also, if it`s the expanse of the road, you slow down. If it`s not, you go around it.

There were complaints prior to the woman turning herself in, knowing she would have got caught soon enough, she turned herself in.

She`s still gonna face a punishment even if it is just the humiliation of having to go to court.

So yeh it is karma then!

I don`t think she would have randomly phoned the police to tell them she drove through a puddle.

This is insane. How is it careless and reckless driving, the puddle was the expanse of the road. I think you`d be hard pressed to find the driver of the vehicle actually doing anything illegal.

We should be more alarmed about the rampant use of the law rather than some soaked articles of clothing.

Good job- hope she gets really fined. I don`t drive, I am always on foot or on a bike. I have lost two mobiles through being drenched by careless drivers and have come off my bike several times. That is dangerous.

If she`d lost control of her car speeding down that hill into standing water she might have hit a couple of those kids. A kid I went to high school with got hit while riding his bike by someone who actually swerved to get him. He died instantly. I know because a friend of mine was riding next to him when it happened. For me, the situations are too close for comfort. It`s also just a stupid, mean thing to do. I`m glad that`s illegal.

I think doing that might very well be worth $150 and 3 penalty points.

It was funny, and the Man can stick it.

dont take it out of context Baelzar, yeah splashing someone with water isnt illegal, but while your zooming past in a car over a giant puddle it is... since several things can go wrong...

I`m wondering if they were announcing a search for her and she decided to turn herself in, rather than her just feeling guilty and turning herself in. It notes there are complaints, first. Just a theory.

Although the video is hilarious. There was two things wrong done with it.

One; there was footage of her breaking the law
Two; the footage was then posted on the internet
