I`ll still pass.

This reminds me, when I was living in Cairns we went to these markets one day and there was a stall of full body Kangaroo skins and there were these 3 asian girls draping the skins over their shoulders and hopping around. They thought it was hilarious

@Pyrosisflame

Because chickens can`t potentially kill you. And you call yourself a man.

This isn`t from Japan. It`s from China; the article was talking about how Wal-Mart is expanding in China to include groceries.

Whats with the bright yellow fish?! And whats next to the gators? It kinda looks like a giant slug.

Gator just tastes like the spices you cook it with and the sauce you`re dunking it in... I`ve never thought it was particularly amazing, even though I did have some at a good cajun restaurant in Dallas about two months ago and it was really well seasoned... I wouldn`t say no to more... I don`t know what some people are disgusted by the pic, it`s just dead alligators with oranges in their mouths. If that little kills your appetite then I would suggest not surfing this kind of internet site.

I don`t get it. People in Louisiana eat Alligator all the time. And, no, it does NOT taste like chicken. It actually isn`t that good. Not that bad either. Just sort of bland. In fact, it tastes a lot like Frog Legs, if you have ever tried that.

Yep gator > chicken. I love me some gator tail!

Gator doesn`t taste exactly like chicken. It tastes exactly like gator. If anything, it tastes more like phesant than chicken.

Subushie is correct. In fact, gator is kinda like spicy chicken, I`d eat it more regularly if it was available around here.

Well providing they`re getting them from alligator farms, I don`t see how this is much different from eating beef or mutton (except this is ten times manlier).

I saw this on BBC "Day in Pictures." This is actually some new store that just opened in HK (I believe), and they are showcasing foods that seem exotic to people living there. The gators are most likely being imported from the US. Alligator is a relatively common cajun dish.

Ironically, this was labelled as Asians being weird when it is was in reality put on display in an Asian supermarket to showcase the weird foods that some westerners eat...

Meh. I`ve had alligator before. Although this looks like it might be crocodile. The only weird thing is that the meat hasn`t been removed from the animal yet, but that`s relatively common in certain kinds of markets.
