Thank you sweetie!
Yea and 160 American dollars is like 3 Euros.
Anyway, this is another description fail, as he`s obviously going 160kph. If I could take a guess he`s on the autobahn in Germany.
But what about the other car. How fast was IT going? I`d guess it at at least 250.
The highway that they are on is called the Autobahn, there is no speedlimit but most people stick to around 120Mi/hr.
Learn your facts before you get all hyped up.
Not only that, but the metric system is the number one cause of drug abuse in Europe; It also causes computer crashes, break failure, nervous spasms, slow growing grass, insomnia, obesity, daltonism and bad breath.
Which is a bit risky, considering he`s very rapidly closing on someone about to overtake, who, thankfully, did check his mirrors.
(I work in a funeral home)
Its a vette allright!
Personally I thought it was a porsche 911 and he`s gotta be doing something around 180+. Which is a bit dumb on a 2 lane autobahn. Also, why anyone would own a corvette in Germany is beyond me. They might be fast, but they`re excessively thirsty on fuel, don`t corner as well (mind you that`s not an issue on the autobahn) and haven`t got as good braking as the top German marque supercar models do, which is biblical.
I reckon it`s an American serviceman who`s shipped his motor over and is based out of one of the USAF bases in Germany.
Still the speed of that car passing him, I`ve only ever seen them do it that fast when I`m standing on the side of the road, and that guy was DRIVING when it past him. So whatever that other car was doing, it was doing it pretty stonking fast.
Not all, no. I`m not convinced that the front of the car (seen in the wing mirror) looks like a Corvette.
To get a decently accurate figure for the other car`s speed, we`d need to know the framerate that the film was shot at and an accurate measurement of distance. We could get the distance from the broken white line in the centre of the road - I bet they`re a standard length and distance apart. Then it would just be a matter of counting frames to get the time taken to move a known distance...assuming that no frames were dropped when the video was converted to put on the net.
Personally, I don`t care enough to bother finding out the necessary details.
still looks INSANE though. made me check the numbers to see if it was possible lol
yes its a corvette
Specifically, look in the wing mirror to see the car approaching.
I`ve just done that and it doesn`t look like the same car to me.
Very much looks like a Corvette going 200+ mph.Which is possible for that car.
Also it`s a Corvette! If you download the video and look at it in slow motion, on frame 20 or so you can see in the rear view that it has a square lower grille and looks like a corvette but definitly has a square lower grille.
and even if we were covered in ice, there is something we canadians call
"Male, 18-29, Canada"
Bullpoo, neither horses nor snowmobiles can go that fast.
Also, what the drat would he do if the lane wasn`t clear? Seems like, at that speed, the time between seeing a car in front of you, and reaching that car is about 1 or 1 and a half seconds, lol.
Oh, as in Kilos per hour? That`s a lotta inertia!!! =/ "
He sounded like Hank Hill having an orgasm.

You sound like a dick take your own advice.
And saying "vette" instead of "corvette" is one thing, its another TO TYPE IT
Vette, vette, vette, vette, vette, vette, vette, vette.
Actually, it`s 99.4 MPH...so basically round it up to 100. No way that was only 90.
UK drives on the left and steers on the right. It`s the ONLY country in europe that does.
Secondly, it seemed to me like he accelerated after he was passed but before we saw the dashboard.
The vette(?) was definitely flying, but not nearly as impressive when you do the math.
