BTW darth, is yur profile pic the scientist from "9"? if so, i salute you
True, but Labor Day WEEKEND is right now!!!
Panth`s remark is funnier as is.
Machinery, like robotic welders, grinding tools on assembly lines, and in a sense, even computers, get calibrated or re-calibrated, to make sure they work to specifications, and it involves turning them off.
Panth`s remark, typo or clever, implies that american workers are treated like machines, and occasionally `powered down` - given the day off - for the benefit of the employers.
"Calibrate"?? I think you mean celebrate. And what`s even more ironic is that the person you quoted spelled "celebrate" correctly!!
But I`ll forgive you. We`re both Americans!
Labor Day is the day in which the American people calibrate all the workers that do their jobs. Because of that, pretty much everyone gets the 1st Monday in September off.
Labour Day isn`t `till the 7th!
...funny post though. ;-)
