no, they`re using the correct form. a very, very correct form.
Take it from me. I`ve shot a hella lotta arrows.
Number one is Nice compound bow, but I’m guessing it`s not hers because she`s holding her left arm wrong, she needs to swing her elbow out or she`ll gouge out the skin of her arm when she fires the arrow, especially seeing as she doesn’t have an arm guard.
I was, of course, refering to competence in archery. 3 is a display of acrobatics, which is a completely different thing. It`s irrelevant what she`s holding with her feet.
Someone mentioned that 1`s boobs look odd. I think that`s her clothes, not her boobs. That top doesn`t hang right with her arms in that position.
Kaempffe...I noticed that too. I think it makes her look more at home outdoors. Someone who walked there, maybe camped in a shelter she made. Competence again.
Although the first thing I noticed was her big boobs, which was the point of that bra.
Cupid was male. If these people are men, there`s one hell of a special effects and makeup team involved.
Except that they didn`t. If they existed at all.
If not, oops. Not sure if those are shadows from the trees or just dirt but she looks great because of it for some reason. Its the first thing I saw, TBQH. Its the only one that really caught my eye.
Hot-shoot`n hotties are nothing new. At least they didn`t cut one boob off like the Amazons did.
I think it`s kind of a "Lara Croft effect" if you will.
and last ninja, a lot do, actually. my mom does. one is the "live strong" one, one is for aids, and another idr.
The more you know..."
...the more you realise the well-known answers are not necessarily true.
`amazon` has no direct meaning. It might be derived from Greek words meaning `without a breast`, but it might be derived from half a dozen other things. For example, it might be derived from Greek words literally meaning `without barley bread` but actually meaning `nomads`, i.e. people who don`t farm and therefore don`t have farmed grains for bread. That would fit with the Sarmatians who may well be the origins of the Amazon myths. It may also be derived from Old Iranian words meaning `with honour`, which might have been used to refer to a warrior culture. The Sarmatians were from that area, so Old Iranian might have been used.
No-one knows the true etymology of the word `Amazon`. They didn`t even know in Ancient Greece - there are records of people back them discussing it.
No, there weren`t. That`s a myth. Actually, the whole Amazon thing is a myth. Even 2500 years ago in Ancient Greece, the source of the myth, they had no idea of the origin of the story or the name.
My educated guess is that the origin of the Amazon story was early Greek encounters with one of the societies in which some of the women were warriors (perhaps the Sarmatians - they were noted horse archers). That would have been extremely weird to the Greeks, so stories would have started and become exaggerated.
A skilled woman can easily fire a shortbow without her boobs being in the way. It would be a pointless and dangerous mutilation.
Sarmatian warriors wore light armour. A compact, lean woman in functional armour might well have looked breastless to a Greek. Maybe that started the myth.
Can`t say I`d have a problem with that.
The more you know...
