It is not a minimum wage job, and where that guy lives I am SURE he is overjoyed to have any job, and yes I think he has been doing it for at least months if not years.
We in the 1st world should reflect that by a chance of birth we are not that guy, and not whine and complain when our country gives some small pittance to help people overseas.
The keyboard you are typing on is worth more than that guy makes in a week of doing that! And your computer is more than he will make in 2 years.

Of course, you really can`t get that good unless you`ve been working that job for years and years and years. And that kind of paints a sad picture for him. Slaving away at the same minimum wage job for the rest of his life, with no hope for advancement, forever doomed to a life of poverty...

Oh, sorry, I meant: WHOA AWESOME VID

"That vid was in a quiz I did once. You watched it first then answered questions on it and you had to try and remember the vid. There were questions like how many bricks were on his/her head, how many people were on the boat, ect..

I did a similar thing in high school

Some guy at a random point ran in the classroom while the prof. was teaching and stole something, and we had to remember the color of his clothes, what he took, what his skin color was, what picture was on his shirt, etc

"you get banned for saying "first" my thats pretty harsh, and i thought we had a laid back community?"

Te be fair, it`s a week`s ban, and that`s only for established members who should really know better. For new members it`s a deleted comment and a short sharp telling-off.

Persecution of F1RST!!!1!111!one!1eleven! posters has been a long-standing tradition of this community, and ain`t gonna change anytime soon.

You will be supprised at the amout of stuff third world country seem to carry on their head. To save money on building support structures, they immigrant them and pay $3 a day to stand under it. If you look under the empire state building, there is 8 people there working twelve hour day shifts.

""You know how we ban people for saying First? Lets ban people for saying Repost"

No-one`s ever been banned, nor will they, for saying repost. It`s a valid complaint. They`re actually quite difficult to filter for a number of reason. Firstly, unless the URL is EXACTLY the same, it won`t show up automatically as a repost. We try to check each submitted link by using the search, but sometimes that misses too. If both those fail, then it`s all down to memory, and we`re 10 or so Mods all with jobs and school and lives outside IAB, and >40000 links to remember, so every now and again one gets through.

Besides, they`re not all that bad, as many people (especially relatively new members) missed them first time around.

"You know how we ban people for saying First? Lets ban people for saying Repost"

It`d be more convenient to have a "Repost" button. This would help the developer of the website to actually re-use the content, instead of wasting space and having multiple copies of one thing.
