why does it keep referring to them as "fictional?" hehehe. You should read The Zombie Survival Guide. except some mean lady might take it away from you at school because it has a gun and a machete on the front. :/ slut.

Woo! Zombie attack :3

While you`re all up there enjoying your damn killing spree`s, and some of you "uhhh-ing" towards a few others, Australia`s STILL going be on fire (thanks whatever deities exist) while we`re all scratching our heads as to where the sh*t you all went.

Lame :(

"The only probably here is that there`s nothing awesome about Canada...nothing!"

WTF does "probably here" mean anyway? Is that some sort of new slang or something?
How about coming for a visit sometime TBird before you sprout your yapper off.
I have been to the states many times and find it very much like Canada in a lot of ways except we have a plan for when the zombies come and you don`t.
Also some of us put a ? after our surnames and some of us use a ! ...
Which is uniquely Canadian.

"Professor Robert Smith? (the question mark is part of his surname and not a typographical mistake)"

That is SICK! I wish I was this dudes son.

Yeah, it will be funny when everyone sees you realize that a real life zombie attack is nothing like a video game. so have fun "killin` 28 Days Later-esque zombies left and right"

We once made a simulation of a zombie attack for our study. It was a very fun assignment, but of course a very interesting way to see how populations react to these kinds of infections.

If an outbreak like 28 days later occurred we`d be epically owned. An infectious disease is way more likely then something that reanimates dead flesh. So if there is a "zombie outbreak" its going to be like 28 days later if anything at all.

Converse UK, you have clearly not thought this out enough. In most pop culture zombie works, animals cannot become zombies. It is after all, a human disease. The muscles only need oxygen to function if they are alive. Electrical stimulus from the brain does the trick. The muscles just erode without healing that way. Zombies are never depicted as turning on one another, something to do with their scent. Also, they don`t need water for things like sweat, blood, and urine, so dehydration is much less of a problem. The brain doesn`t need blood to create electrical impulses.
On less of a ranting note, was anyone else reminded of the Reddeker plan from world war Z?

My understanding of zombie biology is that if you manage to decapitate a zombie then it`s dead forever
Professor Neil Ferguson

wrong, the brain is not destroyed so no dead zombie

So..... This is where Canada`s tax money is going to..... Finding out a cure for zombies? Hell, I guess my plan to move out of the US and into Canada has been ruined. I guess I`ll move to Europe, then.

It`s kind of useless until you know how diseases spread...

For example, if there can be zombie animals, then the rats will mass from the sewers and we`ll be dead within minutes.

Oh, not to mention the fact that muscles need oxygen (carried in blood) to function. No heartbeat, no blood, no movement, no zombie.

Not to mention the fact that zombies would probably turn on each other.

Oh, and they won`t have the thinking capacity to drink water, meaning they`ll become dehydrated, and this will destroy their brains.

can`t quite see the relationship to chicken pox. get a little death when you`re young and develop an immunity to it when you`re older perhaps?
