However, it is funnier in context. I miss father ted.
"Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These (pointings to toy cows on table) are very small; those (points out of the window at cows in the field) are far away..."
Actually, the fact that it`s just a scene from a TV show makes it less funny.
Protesting something? Here`s your sign.Protesting a protest? Here`s your sign.Undecided? Here`s your sign.Just want to confuse the hell out of people by using it random spots where nothing is happening? Here`s your sign.
Love that show.
This is from an episode where they are ordered by the Bishop to protest a new movie being released but they don`t want to annoy the locals and also don`t know what the film is about so they create two protest signs:"Down with this sort of thing"and "Careful now!"
You`re basically saying "Down with this sort of thing" is not funny at all, and the only reason it`s funny is because it was on TV where you are.
Even without the reference, it was funny. If you happen to know the origin, good for you. I didn`t know, but I sure do know I found it funnier when I thought it was original and witty.
Ah, that was f**king amazing.
I laugh at what I want, this is a free country dagummit! Damn Brits.
If you don`t get why people keep replying with "careful now" you shouldn`t be laughing at this post
"I say! It`s just not on, what!"and"Please reconsider there`s a good chap"
Old old is old.
It`s from Father Ted, a classic British sitcom.
