People such as this artist help us see what she sees.

Reflect upon this, (especially you, America!)how about if this was your family? Right now, the world CAN retaliate against gross war crimes committed by the Bush administration. They could call it just too. Yet, wouldn`t we suffer too?

Lenin, Stalin, socialism, communism, blah blah blah STFU. It`s all collectivism and it always results in massive human suffering.

Wowzers, amazing is an understatement for her.

"at the end the song in violin is nothing else matters by metallica lol?"
It`s Apocalyptica`s version, so cellos instead of violin, and yes lol if you want.

Saintnick, Stalin had his own brand of Communism, creatively named Stalinism. Socialism and Communism are different, and so is Stalinism. please read a book or something on the matter. I recomend something by Karl Marx. By the way, I`m not a communist. I`m just insane.

Russia-nazi pack killed 50million "Russians" and allowed the executions of 20,000 Officers. There are No place On this Earth with enough forgiveness to avenge my Vengeance to Putin`s Fore-fathers sins. I am not asking for Russia to be Honorable, but Accountable for their War Crimes. Memento Mori My Brothers.

Stalin was worse than Hitler, communism does not equal Stalinism, and a lot of elders in Russia now look back in nostalgia towards the times behind the "communist" Iron Curtain. I also can`t view the video.

stalin is the communist/socialist ruler of russia whom murdered all that opposed him & all that is the iron curtain of russia.

oh, & all this occurred right under everyone`s nose, people would just disappear.

socialism is awesome, isn`t it?

Shellie: lol, it`s cool, no harm done :P

Postovoy: Dude, I`m Russian, I was born and raised in Russia, I know what the radio broadcast says. Also, I`m not saying that Stalin didn`t suck, believe me, I think he was a terrible, terrible man, my family had to suffer through him too, I was just clarifying it for this particular case.

That was amazing and it was neat to hear the song at the end... Nothing Else Matters by Mettalica

I don`t think an Ukranian would end their piece with an English msg... Paganism is a term used for polytheistic religions - not just a singular god like Christianity, but multiple deities/goddesses/gods.

BostonKaiser...No.
There were 4 people who noted the song, just something I noticed after watching it a couple times... There were 2 people who said she was good looking. What are you talking about?

Anyway, she has amazing talent. She`s so perfect at moving the sand swiftly and efficiently, like 2:01.

Disturbingly sad that half the people posting only got the following out of this:
A) She`s hot
B) There was a Metallica song in it

On a side note, can anyone translate the last three words she drew? The last one looked like "pagan".

Vitaliy, the bombers were about WWII. The song playing when they showed the bombers was "the sacred war," AKA WWII. Hitler killed a lot of Ukrainians, but Stalin killed more. The war was just part of the story.

Ukraine had a pretty bad time from the Russians before the war and Germans during it. This could well be a tribute to both. If you thought that 6 million jews was a lot, you want to look at all the other peoples who had it rough during the 20th century too.

"Excuse me, but I`m almost positive that this is a depiction of the Ukranians killed by Nazis, not by Stalin. Stalin was a terrible man and the majority of Eastern Europeans are not fond of him in the least, but he has nothing to do with this."

forgive my -0 knowledge of the russian language but I had to steal the description of a comment in youtube to let people know what it was about (and myself). Let it be Nazis and not Stalin then lol

It`s a cover of Metallica`s "Nothing Else Matters" by Apocalyptica. They`ve done classical covers of a lot of Metallica`s work. Check them out.

This whole thing made me tear up a little. Pure emotion was streaming through her sand.

First off, there are bombers shown in this, and Stalin resorted to more secretive practices than just flat-out bombing his cities. Second off, there are Russian radio reports talking about tragedy in this, and there`s no way in hell that Stalin would have allowed a radio station to slander him and report on the atrocities of his killings.

"Amazing animation for a tragedy I never knew existed until now. Seven million dead and I never heard of it? Excuse me, I need to do a bit of research..."

How? I see what you are in the 13-17 demographic, but i`m 16 and we have gone over it extensively at school.
