I might be wrong ><
Yeah. Not sure if you`re intentionally being stupid/silly, but most forms of colorblindness are sex-linked disorders and show up much more prominently in males than in females.
Hemophilia is another disorder that males specifically are more typically prone to.
"These disorders, (also called X-linked), are recessive, involve the X chromosome, and affect males almost exclusively. Females are virtually never affected by these disorders because they possess two X chromosomes, both of which would have to carry the defective gene in order for it to be manifested. Since these females` fathers would be affected by the disorder, which is usually debilitating or fatal, this is a highly unlikely situation."
Duuuh of course its possible, last time I checked, 50% of the population were girls! You strange person.
drat you normal people
Colour blind people ftw =p
Just kidding guys! I love you lol
Hahaha.. my thoughts exactly - `hey, maybe for some ridiculous and completely arbitrary reason, my colorblindness will just magically disappear for this one post on IAB!`... Whatever brain, just keep on doin` your thing.....
actually, my grandfather couldn`t see any colors, so he did in fact only see black, white and shades of grey...
And JoeYC, just... wow.
Um...then why would they use these to test for color blindness? Some people can`t see certain colors. Know what you`re talking about before you post.
Please tell me that was a bad attempt at a joke.
In which case, there is a 50% chance you are a carrier, and then you have a 50% chance of passing it on to your son if you have one.
I`m slightly red/green colorblind, so I can`t normally see these things.. Helped to tilt my laptop screen tho.
This is what things look like to colour blind people, quite depressing, eh?
Thanks IAB, for wasting my brain cells.
