"Yeah because breasts are there to be groped by men. drat this poo."

Evolution-wise, yea. Breasts are meant to be groped/teased for sexual pleasure and to nurture/feed babies.

They developed out of reproductive needs, hormones, and evolutionary terms. Female bodies naturally direct fat to the breast and hip areas. If you don`t like/want boobs, work out and they`ll burn up like the rest of your fat.

Gymnasts/athletes who begin training at a young age don`t develop breast tissue quite the same way as other girls.

And since we`re talking about reproduction, this implies a sperm + egg, aka man + woman. So yes, they`re meant to be groped by guys to elicit sexual response by chicks to get them wet, help out the sexual process, and then to swell up with milk for babies.

There you go. Milky fat bags. That`s what they are.

At base, they`re there to potentially produce milk to feed young. But starting a campaign to further objectify female body parts is bullpoo. "oh it`s for a good cause hur hur" is bullpoo. Breasts are breasts like elbows are elbows. "Saving them" should not be about keeping up appearances for others, it should be about preserving your drating life and health. Jesus.

Sim, I like what you said. However, "meant" can be construed in a lot of different ways. Make sure others don`t misinterpret "meant" as signifying that that way is the only and the right way.

Yes, breast cancer IS a very serious issue. That`s why I do my civic duty and perform and examination on every pair I can - even if its impractical to do so physically, at least a really intensive *visual* study. I try to explain to the Missus that I`m just doing my Public Duty, but...

"not really apropriate , at all."

I suggest you look the other way then. Every October I attend a "walk for the cure" with my wife and there`s far worse than this. Besides breast cancer can strike anyone, males as well as females. I`d much prefer to have massive awareness of a serious disease though some clever and perhaps provocative advertisements than have hardly anyone take notice of it, and have limited research toward a cure or little desire to find a cure compared to something else.

Maybe you`ll feel different when you know someone who`s diagnosed, or though I hope it doesn`t happen, you become diagnosed with breast cancer.

Not trying to seem condescending, just saying.

Third base is "petting" below the waist, and oral sex.

Trailleadr. You are being condescending. In fact, the CDC`s 2006 mortality breakdown shows that heart disease is the number one cause of death in the USA with 631,636 deaths and malignant neoplasms (cancer) are second with 559,888 (cumulative). Breats cancer accounted for 41,210 deaths in 2006. So yeah, it`s a problem, but have some context before you speak.

BTW, I`ve known breast cancer non-survivors and heart disease survivors and non-survivors and have had cancer myself, so thanks for walking and going to bat for money for someone else.

On a lighter note, hurray for boobies!

"In fact, the CDC`s 2006 mortality breakdown shows that heart disease is the number one cause of death in the USA with 631,636 deaths and malignant neoplasms (cancer) are second with 559,888 (cumulative). Breats cancer accounted for 41,210 deaths in 2006. So yeah, it`s a problem, but have some context before you speak."

Not sure what you`re driving at here, unless you just felt you needed to give me crap. I never said it was a "ranked number X" killer. I simply stated that it`s important and needs to be addressed. I`m not comparing it to other ailments. When I said
`and have limited research toward a cure or little desire to find a cure compared to something else`
I meant things like putting funding toward what would really happen in the event of a zombie apocalypse (as an absurd example).

"Trailleadr. You are being condescending. BTW, I`ve known breast cancer non-survivors and heart disease survivors and non-survivors and have had cancer myself, so thanks for walking and going to bat for money for someone else."

I`m sorry, but what`s up your a$$? Did you read his statement at all? Are you stupid?
