Too bad half of their #1 hit songs aren`t good. I meant songs that remain good through the tests of time. Rolling Stones have them beat.

"This game is amazing. Unfortunately I`ve played through the whole story mode already... but I still need to get 5 stars on everything."

Try "Medium" difficulty now

I think I want this, I`ve been a fan of the Beatles since I was about 6 (crazy huh)but would this degrade the memory of them, or encourage. I think this would be a great way for my daughter and her friends who play with us, to learn something new about such a wonderful band.

>the BLB
>S Club 7
>Prozzak
>Dangercat
>Much Dance 2004

Except, you know, S Club 7 Only released 11 songs, Prozzak is a very minor band, Dangercat`s not even on the english wiki and Much Dance 2004 is a compilation album from multiple artist. But other than that, your statement was COMPLETELY factual.

To be fair though, S club 7 had 4 uk, 3 NZ, 1 IRL, 3 NZ and 1 Swizz Numher one hit. That`s quite good.

joshyboy, how is it a rip-off when the made a whole new game engine, art style, new career mode and everything. they made a NEW game, not like guitar hero where they just add new songs and change the look a bit every month or so.

And yeah, you should have to pay another 30-40 for a track pack. Songs are .99 each and theres 45 songs in it. it`s not just a track pack, its a brand new game...

I Think this game is a total rip off. If you already have Rock Band (1/2) Then You shouldn`t have to pay another £30-£40 for what is essentially a track pack.

Sorry, I should have said "You know another band that had 28 Number 1 hits... that anyone has heard of?"

Besides, I doubt those 4 bands are worldwide #1`s.

I played through most of this two nights ago, it was fun sometimes, but I was only familiar with half of these songs... and I think I was still up there among Beatles knowledge.

I`ll basically stick to what GT said as well; If you are a fan then buy it. Otherwise? Maybe not. Too few songs and only beatles tracks sort of makes for a no buy for me. I don`t have anything against the beatles but man, they could have stuffed some more 60s and 70s rock on there for good measure.

The Beatles ripped of black American music. Just like all rock `n` roll. Nothing against them, but it is true.

woodslover69, The Beatles don`t really fall into the came category as Elton John, KISS, and .38 Special. I hate those bands. The Beatles are good classic rock.

I actually just bought rock band 2 a few weeks ago. The girl at game stop was all like "Hey! you know next week they are coming out with the beatles rockband and the instruments are replica`s of the beatles instruments" etc. etc., I LOVE the beatles...but I was not about to pay 100+ dollars for a game that ONLY has beatles songs. I like to have a mixture of songs. And besides that, I`m a bit furstrated with Rock Band 2. I have most of the GH games, which I loved, and decided to finally give in and get a PS3 and try out Rock Band. I`m disappointed with the game flow. I`ve played "pinball wizard" so many times I think I`m sick of it. In order to progress in the game you play different venues where you get random set lists that could possibly contain some of the same songs you just played at the venue before. Or maybe I`m just doing it wrong lmao.

I don`t see what is so great about the Beatles. Like, they wrote a few good hit songs, sure, but not as many as other bands. Maybe there was a deprivation of good music, or maybe it`s because they started the British music scene in the US.

I do admit they are a good band, but somewhat overrated in comparison to a lot of other bands with more success, hit songs, albums, longevity."

Yup... Just a few hit songs....

i`m going to get the mono box set (or a reasonable facsimile) cuz i read that the snobby purists, and the beatles themselves, think the mono mixes are just the tops. And I believe them.

ive played the new beatles game and the gameplay is dreadful. compared to the new looking GH engine, rockband looks like a crayon drawing.

the songs are ridiculously easy... the only fun part is the harmonies, but as i dont have 3 mics i wont be doing that again.

@thesharpest, there`s no ledzep or rush , but GH: Van Halen is out soon

Sonny & Cher were not "gay" (they were married). How about some classic rock like you said? .38 Special or Elton John? KiZZ?!

I`m going with "nay" because I think the Beatles are the most overrated band in the world and because I`ve had enough of Rock Band/Guitar Hero and Also, let`s be honest: how difficult could a Beatles song be to play? I give it a day or 2 before some nerd with too much time in his hand posts videos of every song perfectly aced.
Still waiting for a Led Zep or Rush game, though.

Sorry fot the repost. lukas1051, to be completely honest, a lot of songs are boring to play, but there are harder settings and keep in mind that there are four intruments. I don`t mind, I still find it fun.

I hate people who hate The Beatles. But seriously, i got this game when it came out. if yuour a Beatles fan at all, you`ll like the game. The only bad thing is that there`s only about 50 songs. And woodslover69, Paul and Ringo are the one alive, and it`s not like gay ass Sonny and Cher. It`s just like if it would be Guitar Hero Metallica or something. It`s classic rock.

This only got such great reviews, because the reviewers can`t dislike The Beatles, because the only people who dislike The Beatles are unsophisticated people, and professional writers do not want to appear as unsophisticated people. In all truth, these songs are as boring as hell to play, I`ve seen gameplay videos on YouTube.

I don`t know... I`m hesitant about any new-age Beatles stuff. My dad was a ridiculously big fan of theirs and they were my lullabies growing up. It`s just in my blood.

Oh, right, that and I suck at Rock Band.

But if you get some duct tape I can play a mean drum set!

I`m not sure about this, I mean, half of The Beatles are el deado so will it be like their ghosts on the screen with the two other living dudes (Paul & George)making all the money? What`s next, "Sonny and Cher" for the Wii?
