Take that job at Burgertown while you keep looking.
That isn`t true.Civil prosecuting attorneys often work on contingency when they are suing for money, usually because the people who hire them don`t have any money to pay them unless they win.
Oh jeez, I think we got a case of double irony here
No, really? I can`t believe that she graduated with a 2.7, some places won`t let you out without at least a 3.0 in business. As everyone else is saying shes stupid to think she was going to finish school and get a job right away, people who have worked a hell of a lot harder, with more experience under their belt can`t even find jobs along with the rest of us.
Besides I wouldn`t want to hire some dumb woman who possibly sues every time she doesn`t get her way. I`d also much rather have someone with a higher GPA because it shows they work hard and know wtf they`re doing.
So stop going on about lawyers!
Quite honestly pet, suck it up. I`m registered with a recruitment agency whose sole job it is to find me a job - that doesn`t mean I`m sitting on my arse not looking for a job myself. It`s been more than three months for me too! (and it`s my birthday today...)
Q: What do honest lawyers and UFOs have in common?
A: You always hear about them, but you never see them.
3 months looking for a job right now is laughable. Anyone expecting to leave school one day and go to work the next is not living in the real world. Having only finished school 3 months ago and having no experience in the field yet while having only pulled a 2.7 GPA what would you expect?
And on a final note business information systems is a joke. Fools take that thinking they might get a decent job but it`s the easiest thing you can take and pulling a mere 2.7 in that really shows your not going to put any effort into a job if hired.
What a dumb c*nt.
`they favor 4.0 students!`
haha wow, that`s probably your razor-sharp intellect speaking...
its only 2000$ that she made, and it was like 4 years, so she would have made more working at mcdonals or something
"Thompson says she has not hired an attorney to represent her because she cannot afford one. When she filed her complaint, she also filed a "poor person order," which exempts her from filing fees associated with the lawsuit."
Is she aware of the fact that even those with 3.5 and higher GPA`s aren`t finding work in the IT industry?
Whoever took this case is exactly why lawyers get a bad rap.
but this girl is stupid. probally fat too
and there is no lawyer...she`s taking this case on all by herself.
I love how you aren`t reading the article, where does it say they promised her a job?
and the caption `Who`s stupider, this girl or the lawyer that decides to take her case?` doesn`t make sense. It says in the article she is representing her self
I sadly will be graduating in a year with a degree but i will have to deal with the fact that there may not be positions open for me as soon as i come out that i may have to get a job not in my feild for a while till a spot opens.
See i did read the article. Now what she should realize that with what i said above and the fact that she has only been out for 3 months she needs to wait a bit longer. There are people who have been trying to get in there field for over that long. It takes time to find skilled positions right out of college anyways let alone you tack on this downturn in the economy. No one is hiring heavily atm.
