Wolfking- Gah, had to post just as I was posting my FAQ.
Me - How many times have I posted on this thread now? SEVEN TIMES???? Gah, this game is too addictive.
Buy the sub-machine gun ASAP. Then the AK-47.
Eventually you`ll shoot that poor turtle so high he vanishes from the screen. The second he reappears, shoot him ONCE and he`ll go flying up again. Repeat as many times as possible and you`ll definitely get a million points without even touching the ground. The more you shoot him, the further he flies (thus the AK47 is the best weapon on the game, as it has 30 bullets).
Don`t bother with the golden gun. As far as I can tell, it`s useless compared to the AK-47.
Getting some medals also gets you bonuses (for instance playing for one hour gives you 50% more cannon power and so on) so get as many as you can before trying for a high-score.
Click the question mark on the shop sign to find the hidden achievement and watch a very short animation. Doesn`t do anything permanent though unless you`re logged into a newgrounds account...
Once you get the golden shell achievement (buy everything) spend all your money on nukes. Buy a body bomb first though, they`re only $2000 a pop.
Late in the game your worst enemy will be balloon spikes. Buying a body bomb will save you once but after that you`re at their mercy since you`ll be travelling so fast you won`t be able to see them (let alone avoid them) until it`s too late :(
Nukes don`t seem to affect the turtle when he`s off screen. Try to time it right so the nuke detonates just before the turtle touches the floor.
Hold W and D and you`ll go much further than holding no buttons. A and S are pretty much useless unless you`re trying to kill yourself.
New players; you earn $250 more for landing by slowing to a stop than landing by hitting spikes, so try to avoid spikes even if you`re trying to commit suicide.
You earn far, far more points in the first couple of minutes of a launch than you do after, so dying after five minutes or so isn`t that bad.
Aim at a 45 degree angle and at full power for best results.
Woah, that big? Well enjoy the tips guide, other peeps feel free to add to it.
2 hours well-spent :3
1337_mod you must be a wizard to get (almost) 7 million points. That`s the only logical explanation I can think of.
but its so hilarius! every time i toss him i imagine he goes "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK"
LOL. I think I`m going to start using that euphemism now.
