Yes there is, Andy Warhol is, in fact, a homo.

Andy Warhol was gay as the day is long, John was straight but supposedly slept with openly gay Brian Epstein, who became the Beatles Manager (and probably the greatest rock and roll manager ever) because, according to their biographer, he "fancied them" - John admitted it but later insisted that he said it "as a joke"

What`s the big deal, anyway?

Oddly enough, prior to signing on with the Beatles, Brian Epstein tried to become manager for young David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd fame) group "Jokers Wild" since Gilmour was so hot, but Gilmour got a bad vibe from Epstein, which was correct, since Epstein really was trying to get him into bed. Odd how rock history could have been different if David Gilmour had been a bit more open minded.

"SuperSmash some of the richest and well off people I know is be hippies. So even if they don`t work well they must be doing something right."

A rich hippie is an oxymoron. Those are just called bleeding-heart liberals.

Shame Yoko`s not sexy, otherwise it wouldn`t be too bad sitting on the middle of that, especially as one would probably be high and not notice it`s a guy`s hand.

jigishaaalal - "have u ever seen this before in ur life" No and I`m not going to now either, stupid spam whore.

WaywardSon, the civil rights movement had no affiliation with the hippy movement of sexual revolution and rampant drug usage.

So, they were all just dealers? I don`t get it.

I was in Austin for four years and that is pretty much hippie central (other than San Francisco), from the leftovers to new ones. Trust me, they don`t work.

RE: SuperSmash... Doing drugs all day is how they did make their living. The by-product is what has intergrated as part of history. Culturally, ideologically and artistically.

"rybo, Southerners in the U.S. weren`t really into the counter-culture movement of the 60`s which was kind of based on being the opposite of conservatie..."

Yeah, people in the South were busy working. An idea foreign to hippies. Well, until reality set in and they became investment bankers.

It`s hard to do drugs all day and just sit around on a blanket in a park when you`re working all day to put food on the table.

"If someone had just been there with some poison gas, we would have been spared a lot of whiny, idealistic songs and pointless art."
"Just so long as they gave John a gas mask."

Well, by this time, he had made his greatest contribution, so...

@Itsalwysunny

I know! He said that he was in the navy during the hippie-era, which was popular from about 60-70s until 80s neon *shudders* vietnam was fought in about late 60s, going into the 70s, I presume...maybe he peeled potatoes. XD

well good for you, fighting during vietnam, which was exactly what hippies were trying to stop! i totally respect you being in the military and whatnot, but a tranquil world is better for the human race! if war stops, death tolls would lower, and we wouldn`t have to be paying BILLIONS of tax dollars to fund the whole thing in the first place! its a win-win situation!
