Regardless of it`s shopp`dness, this is amazing!
I would have assumed that kind of impact would do more damage to the pool though.
As for the targeting there does appear to be a lot of math and simulating to get it right on try one on that site, though it`s not English so I can`t tell you what it was about. XP
Fake or not it`s still awesome.
I think most people pity the people who think other people think it is real
I`ll help and afterwards we can move it so that it will have a landing area full of jagged rocks and throw cats down it in celebration
Go for it pmarren. Seriously.
lets think it through ok? there are 2 people with 2 buckets full of water/oil/semen, anyone ever heard of friction? friction is what would make you NOT slide, ok? you following me? the more water/oil/semen there is on the surface of that slide would dictate how much you slide, less water less sliding, more water more sliding, ok? Lets return to the 2 guys emptying their buckets, looks like a controlled environment? exact timing, location, liquid flow? No. That means his distance will vary from attempt to attempt, unless there is a pile of corpses behind the camera they could not have calculated the distance where he was going to land.
the landing quite vertically in his kiddie pool, yet the splash is upward? that makes it a really bad shop.
because it usually is the world has no room for actual rad people
yeah if you don`t know how to do it maybe that`d be the conclusion, but all you really need is a decent 3d animation and cam tracking. The guy slides down the ramp and disappears, this is where the 3d model is cut in and then the splash might be a particle system. Easy peasy to fake. Just the trajectory of the guy gives it away. Fun clip though :)
That said... It was pretty wicked !!!
Maybe there wasn`t a lot of water in the pool?
