you mean it looks terrible, or it actually looks like poo? cuz i know which of those i`d be more willing to pay 100 for!
Captain Crunch ROCKS! I`m going to post this then go have a bowl in honour of CC fans.
(Hmmm...I`ve never tried CC and CC...)
They made a bit of a deal about it in one of those "Gee whiz, look what we can do!" articles(I forget what magazine). I guess the magazine was inundated with a lot of "OMGWTFBBQ why the heck aren`t they releasing that?!?" letters. . . Then it was promtly forgotten. I tried to get my dad to get one. He read the article, laughed, then explained what prototypes and concept-models are.
Wow. . . I REALLY feel old.
You need a hug or something?
Picturelink fail! :-P
@ Lionhart: You`re not kidding... before the first Gulf War my civilian job was as a Paramedic (1990). We had cell phones in every Paramedic Unit... They were built into a briefcase, weighed about 25 lbs (mostly battery) and gave you 8 or 9 hours of standby and a whopping ONE hour of talk time... max. The battery had to be completely drained before you could recharge it, and it took about 12 hours to charge one.
We`ve come a LONG way in 20 years.
Pretty badass tho.
Please god no.. that post sucked so much...
and a 5mm thick cable that connected it to my Motorola ULTRA SLEEK 9660, the most compact mini-sized mobile phone ever invented up till then:
Affectionately known by owners as `The Brick`, it weighed about a kg and had a battery life of about 7 hours for a full overnight charge. Remember those old jokes about a guy carrying a suitcase that turned out to be the battery for his mobile phone? Well it wasn`t actually a joke to start with, you COULD buy a overnight-bag sized "long life" battery for the Ultra Sleek 9660.
Sorry - I meant Adobe®© Systems Incorporated, naturally.
On a side note, there is something strangely delicious about that chunky iPhone...
or was it photoshopped? REBELLION!
Oh god it`s a new meme... ADOBE`S PLAN WORKED!
Because no product has ever lasted more than a year before?
I hope I`m right or I might have just awakened the super geeks.
