It would have been interesting and terrible if she said No. and now the little girls in the crowd are going to grow up thinking that`s the type of proposal they want and now no man will ever get the chance again (you think she thinks herself a princess now...) and I am a girl, I find this funny

@SpaceTiger. My wife and I got engaged after being together 6 weeks. We did wait another year to get married because she wanted it all done right. But we`ve been together for 11 years and still going strong.

It was awesome until he broke out in song. Before that *I* would have married him. But the song was a little.....umm....well....I don`t want to be tactless or politically incorrect. But after that I was surprised he wasn`t proposing to his boyfriend. It was just a little over the top for me.

I thought the guy was gay before the dancing etc. just talking into the megaphone.
I got married one month after I met my husband and we have been very happily together for 7 years now, so pffft. When you meet the right person you just freaking know it.
Other then all that, this was sweet and cute. I`m glad she enjoyed it.

My brother told me about this video a few days ago. That must`ve cost him a LOT of money!

For all of you who are saying that this guy`s gay or stupid, childish, that you`d say no, walk away, etc, it`s none of your business. He`s not proposing to YOU.

I agree that they should wait a LITTLE while longer before getting married and that it was a little over the top, but it`s sweet. He obviously cares about her. None of you know this guy or this girl, so just STFU. (Especially you, alfietoon). You guys have no sense of creativity.

i can think of so many things wrong with this
A. he met her in disney land... seriously, disneyland... now unless they have kids of there own, inwhich case where the hell are they, then its just weird.
B. he made and choreographed a dance routine where anything would have been less embarrassing... lets say a boatride across the one of floridas bays at sunset, no gay song and dance
C. they met a year ago and that routine must have taken months to set up let alone arrange it with disneyland
D. she didnt seem embarrassed to have a man do a song and dance infront of all those people with dancemoves and everything to propose so she must have the mind of a child
E. i must stress again... DISNEYLAND!

Male 2,528
OK, I think that was staged. And I don`t just mean the dancers, but even the girl. I mean, the guy is obviously gay. He`s even wearing a white belt.

theracaffe, I`m not superficial, I just don`t date cheesy as hell people.
I`d appreciate my guy putting something together that was hard work, but that was just drating cheesy and I personally don`t know any guy that would seriously do that haha. Disney stuff like this annoys me, it`s just so fake and tacky.
I don`t think this is romantic or cute in the slightest, just annoying.
The best proposal I`ve seen is when a girl waits for her boyfriend to come off the plane she`s meeting him off, and every single person coming off the plane hands her a rose, until he finally comes out at the end and proposes to her.

My dream has always been to be proposed to at Disneyland, but I think this is going way over the top. Plus if it`s not staged imagine how much money it cost him to get Disney to put that together with him. I mean I know they do stuff like this, but it`ll cost a pretty penny.

to everyone saying that it was just too embarasing to be real, its not. lots of people are willing to make people laugh at the expense of some of their dignity.

i work at a summer camp for kids, and tomorows super-hero day. i dont HAVE to do anything, but im dressin up like the muffin man because if it makes even one kid laugh just once, then its worth it.

that was staged and everyone involved was actors, at least that`s my assumption. i know its cliched but disney really is an evil corporation. men are not princes or heroes and women are not princesses or damsels in distress. disney deters us from true love in favor of glamorized bullsh*t. oh and espn is a nice touch to keep us obsessed with competition and success. i know i`m in over my head in conspiracy theory but whatever.

And to anyone saying it won`t last, my best friends parents got married only after 3 months of knowing eachother and have been happily married for almost 16 years. Don`t judge a book by it`s cover.

When my fiancee proposed, it was just me and him by a lake at dusk... it was perfect because no one was there to make ir uncomfortable or pressured.

It was just embarrassing at first, touching but nothing special. It`s the singing and such that made it awesome.

Well of course it`s bloody well `staged` but it`s only `fake` if she was in on it. Even then I claim ignorance and would like to believe it`s amazing. ;p

"Shopped!" or in this case staged. Yeah.. not a real proposal. Sorry to burst the baloons of the romantics out there. I found a few links while Googling. I mean.. not only is it well rehearsed, but the stage is cleared just perfectly.. it`s VERY well lit... and it seemed to be shot and edited by professionals.

Oh that poor girl. She looked like she just wanted to crawl out of her own skin. I know I would if i were put in that situation.

How embarrassing. He took something that is supposed to be personal and made it a publicity stunt. Also, have you ever been sang to before? It`s the most awkward thing ever because you just don`t know what to do with yourself. I think it`s really sad that instead of enjoying the proposal, she was probably wishing it would just end so she could stop being stared at and danced around.

bleh.
