Please Cut Into Isosceles Triangles [Pic]

This may be the cleverest Pizza Hut pizza cutter ever. [For the record, I know a few Pizza Hut employees--not bright.]

Hate to dissapoint you, but, although he did cut an isosceles triangle, the directions clearly states "isosceles triangles," e.g. plural.

uhh... I know I`ll sound like a total math nerd but that`s a SCALENE triangle. Isosceles triangles have two equal length sides.

megann_exoh is correct, all they had to do was cut it normally then cut the ends, then throw out the end bits and give him less pizza than he would normally have got, for being such a smarta*s.

Well technically technically, the crust is a variable-depth ovaloid compound with organic aggregates and inclusions, generally cut into isocelean configuration with apexial sides (r), the base of the polygons being an arc of length 1/8(pi(sqr(r))) with a variance of +/- 10%
0
Reply
Female 2,695
..er well technically, they don`t normally cut it into isosceles triangles because the crust is round. so you can all shut up.

""This may be the cleverest Pizza Hut pizza cutter ever." If by cleverest you mean dumbest, then yes because Pizza Hut pizza is always cut into f*cking isosceles triangles. Yea, so make sure your own intelligence is fully intact before trying to call others "not too bright."`

the guy was obviously trying to be a smartass, and he got owned.

i think its clever because it was a smartass special request to make, since, like you said, theyre always cut into isosceles triangles.

I read something one time where they requested mushrooms on one half the pizza and sausage on the other half. Only... mushrooms on the left and sausage on the right. Pizza came backwards, so they complained. Worker told them to turn the pizza around.
Also, they ordered a small pizza with only sausage, no cheese, no sauce, nothing but sausage. The pizza came, a piece of bread with sausage pieces rolling around in the box.

So basically, someone thought they`d wind up the guys that make their pizza... just so they could then take a pic and put it up on the net?

and they think it`s the pizzahut guys who are the dumb ones? :-s

they can`t be stoners then... 3rd rule of weed smoking is "don`t screw with anyone that supplies you with food"

The "Pizza Hut cutter" did that on purpose. It`s not hard to cut a pizza the right way. Even the retarded teenagers that I`ve seen working at PH can at least cut a pizza better than that. This was intentional. Someone wanted attention (and maybe even a hug).

This might sound stupid, but if he actually had wanted isosceles triangles, and that is the normal way that one slices a pizza, then why would he consider that "special instructions" - that implies that he wants the poor hardworking employees to do something unusual, which they did. I say the employees are the winners here.

I know its a scalene triangle, and I know if you cut it regular it would be in isosceles triangles. Thats The joke, They don`t know what an isosceles triangle is, they were too thick to realize the customer was asking for them to cut it normally. Its Funny that they thought they wanted them to cut one big triangle out of the middle and leave three big chunks behind that aren`t triangles.

So its pretty Obvious you, not us don`t get the joke.

Male 4,546
Jeez, all triangles are going to be scalene when cut into a soft transported item. The idea that you could get them perfect is silly.

Cutting it normally, straight-cutting the crusts, would give what they asked for. Apparently for some people you need a precision laser, an electron microscope and some liquid nitrogen added to the mix, but drat it, it`s cheaper to hire a hit on those non-nice individuals, and way more satisfying than a job well done.

Triangle(s), fair enough, however, you`re implying a grammatical number here. You would still say 0 triangles, but you`d still say he got it wrong even though grammatically it could be argued he`s right.

You could also say the number of triangles (plural, with an s) is one.

Easiest solution would be to cut the corners off the main triangle to form 4 smaller triangles though.

I have worked at Pizza Hut for almost two years now. I go in tomorrow. Our Pizza Hut is mainly just a bunch of college kids, we`re not stupid, but we play around a lot. Thats pretty funny, but actually I don`t think our manager would allow this, for whatever reason. They would call them back. The reason this pizza is so expensive I think is because they added almost 5 toppings. But still its kinda whacky...

Uhg...I hate pizza :(
