Poor Aaron. Must be a stressful life having Brittany running him all day.

As for the numbers thing...yes, i`ve been told many times by teachers that numbers should be spelled out, but they usually left it at numbers under 20. Idk. But unless it`s an academic text or a novel, writing "22 year old" is completely acceptable. And preferable, even.

NightHack, running `aarons` is a reference to Brittany going out with Aaron Carter.

Actually, yourneighbor, you`re incorrect. According to the AP Stylebook, one should:

-Spell out numbers one through nine
-Write out numbers 10 and up in Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, etc.)
-ALWAYS use Arabic numerals for ages and percentages

So, in conclusion, since she is 22 in this context is an age, she should write it as-is. Even if it wasn`t, it is grammatically correct because it is over 10.

Where you might be mistaken, yourneighbor, is that you spell out a number if it comes first in a sentence. For example:

Thirty people went to my party this Saturday.
This Saturday, 30 people attended my party.

In a sentence, all numbers should be in the same form:

There were 15 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 chickens.
There were fifteen dogs, five cats, and two chickens.

NOT: There were 15 dogs, five cats, and two chickens.

Your school, however, might have different expectations in relation to papers.

"Running Aaron`s?" That is pretty terrible. Not only is "errands" an elementary vocabulary word, but there`s a possessive apostrophe where there shouldn`t be one, though she doesn`t make that mistake anywhere else.
I don`t know what these folks are on about with "numbers under 100 should be spelled out." I`ve never heard of that before, ever. In some cases, like perhaps if you`re writing an academic text, all numbers should be spelled out. But not on an ad for miscelleaneous services.

i agree with danthew....i am in late high school and never heard of the "numbers under 100 must be spelled out" rule....who said this? btw...to piss off said rule makers....69....42...and four hundred and twenty...and i guess six hundred and sixty six........hurumph!

"I can`t believe a twenty-two year-old would be that stupid... "Running Aaron`s"... seriously?!... not to mention that the first sentence is a run-on, and numbers below one-hundred (i. e. twenty-two) are supposed to be spelled out in full. Why doesn`t the school system hold back kids who are obviously (I`ll say it nicely) slow?"

Numbers below 100 are supposed to be spelled out?? WTF?? Why does the US school system keep creating grammar (I`ll say it nicely) Nazis?

groogle, I speak French and you actually made a typo you said "Pour une petite somme, vous le dite et je le ferais!" no `s` in `ferai` because it`s future...`ferais` is more conditional `i would` =p but i`m just nitpicking on ya.

DemonDice, if you don`t state it... how do you expect people who dont know to ever learn?

Incorrect spelling
"For a small fee you name it and all do it!"

Correct spelling
"For a small fee, you name it and I will do it!"

Btw, I`m french.
"Pour une petite somme, vous le dite et je le ferais!"
