Number 2 isn`t the best, if I glanced at it I wouldn`t know he was dead, I would have just thought it was a feature of him. #1 is the best, by far. Down and dirty. Yeah. DEAD.

So, when was the last time you heard a MJ song played on the radio outside of an eighties music program? Why do people feel the need to swarm to sadness like they need a cause to come together on. I got one, Iran`s government beating people in their homes or North Korea shooting missles toward Japan, Hawaii and whomever else they`d like. Would you look upon me so highly in my death after being repeatedly accused of child molestation? His life was tormented and done, thousands are dying for no other reason than being in the wrong place at the wrong time, let`s show them some of this outpouring.

Hey Justwatching, in the UK and Ireland the more low brow newspapers referred to him as Jacko which was short for Wacko Jacko. After he came back to prominence with the new tour they started to drop the wacko part because people were falling back in love with him and the print media here is spineless, two faced and self serving. Dirty draters.

The Red Eye one is my favorite. A minimalist cover with a lone photo of Michael in a dance pose. simple and somber. RIP. My mother used to see him walk up and down the operating area at Broughtman Medical Hospital where she used to work. He was wearing a nursing smock and covered his nose and face with a nurses cap. I believe Joe Jackson pushed his son too hard. That`s why he never grew up.

I have to say, the one that just says, "The King" bugs me a little, since I think that title needs to be reserved for Elvis and only Elvis. The first one made me laugh, as horrible as that is...I actually liked his music, before he went crazy with the surgeries. He was a good singer as a little kid.

No need to call someone out of their name. YOU, sir, are an ignorant wog (since you started it) who doesn`t know much about cancer. M.J. did change the face of music I cannot deny but he wasn`t all that, not in the least. Farrah deserved to get credit too not just M.J. he is still a freak in my eyes so you go suck a rooster.

o and by the way to all those whining that farrah didnt get much coverage...

she was on a lot of these covers

she has been getting a lot of coverage since she was diagnosed with cancer

her death was not a surpriseas her last rights were read the day before she died.

she was not as famous as michael. michael shaped a whole generation-clothing, dancing, music.

so stop your whining!!! if you read a newspaper before this, you would know what was going on.

Yes, I also object to the headling saying just "DEAD". It would have been much more tactful to say he is now at room temperature, having a dirt nap, pushing up daisies, passed over, deceased, stone faced, demised, ceased to be, is no more, expired, gone to meet his maker, stiff, bereft of life, resting in peace, off the twig, kicked the bucket, shuffled off the mortal coil, run down the curtain, joined the choir invisible, entered that good night, in a better place, six feet under, crossed the River Styx, wandering the Elysian Fields, paid Charon`s fare, sleeping with the fishes, bought the farm, asleep, belly up, bloodless, cadaverous, checked out, cold, cut off, defunct, departed, done for, erased...

extinct, gone, inanimate, late, lifeless, liquidated, mortified, offed, perished, in repose, rubbed out, snuffed out, wasted, lost, taken, bumped off, bought it, cashed in, checked out, conked, croaked, danced the last dance, eat it, finished, gone into the west, kicked off, got a one-way ticket, popped off, sprouted wings, succumbed, no longer with us, turned to ashes, return to the ground, in Heaven, with his ancestors, gathered to his people, give up the ghost, in the grave, executed, whacked, terminated, put down, going to the big Ranch in the sky, destroyed, worm food, fragged, bought a pine condo, gone into the fertilizer business, become living-challenged, karked it, gone tits up, got your wings. In short, he`s bleedin` DEAD chum.

Farrah had been all over the news for the past 3 years. We all knew how sick she was and that her last days were here. Micheal Jackson is all over every news station because his death was so sudden. He was supposed to be doing rehearsals and sound checks the day he died. They were both american icons in their own light and both be dearly missed

The first and last ones are completely tactless. I really like the Virginian-Pilot`s, though.

And to the naysayers: This was completely unexpected. Everyone knew Farrah was on her way to passing on, but Jacko just up and keeled over out of nowhere. They both did monumental things during their time alive, but we all kind of expected Farrah to leave us, as horrible as that may sound. Sometimes the media sucks. =/

That`s the way it is, silver. It`s kind of sad to see people go unnoticed when they die but it`s just the way it is...

MJ made a huge impact during his career which had inspired so many music artists to follow, so many countries to adore him, he was amazing for his time no denying that. It`s why his death is getting so much more attention really. They`re still paying tribute to Ferrah on many channels though as well (I`m actually kinda surprised), one channel seemed to be running her cancer videos and playing slideshows in tribute to her.

"lol Dead. yep that is what he is.

how is that non nice? dead is dead."

there are nicer ways to put it. to say "he passed" or other ways I can`t think of now... deceased is another...

this bugged me as well. its like when I was watching a car chase and cops pulled guns, the TV reporter was just, "he has been shot, and yes the driver was killed, repeat he has been shot dead by the cops" I was just, "WHAT!?!?!?!"

journalist go to school and at some point MUST take a class about increasing their vocabulary (like english??) and thats the best they could come up with??

how would you like it if a doctor came out of a hospital room where your mom/dad/someone you care deeply for is and says, with little sympathy, "well, she`s dead". they come out and break the news in softer words.

some people don`t/won`t understand until they experience death of a close person (friend or family member who you`re really close to).

Vegas and Nburkie, it would be better if you didn`t foul up your arguments with fallacies. You can`t compare MJ to Hitler, Manson, Stalin, and you can`t compare him to everyone else who dies daily. He didn`t kill anyone, and he`s a famous celebrity. So how exactly does he relate to your examples? Yes, he was accused of molesting little kids, but he was never convicted. So in the eyes of our law he`s innocent. I`m so glad you two instantly know that he`s guilty, even though he was never convicted. Maybe you two should talk to our government! You could get our entire legal system changed! We`ll just line up all our criminals in front of you and you can just declare their guilt and innocence! Wow! Why didn`t we think of this before?! His legal issues aside, you can`t deny his influence to music. And, yes, someone who really cares about human life WOULD mourn ANY death! Everyone has their issues, does this mean no one deserves pity or remorse? Where is the line drawn?

I feel kind of bad for Farrah Fawcett. She had a good carrer, battled all that cancer and then she just happened to die on the same day as Michael Jackson, and her death ends up being way less covered and cared about than if it would have been a different day. I never really thought about either of them too much, though. Michael Jackson had willingly transformed himself into a huge ongoing joke at the end of his life so I just never payed him much attention. I feel bad that the cancer finally got Farrah, she had been battling it for so long.

I`m just sayin that he shouldnt get this much media attention and the world shouldnt stop because he passed away because he wasnt a good person. Yes he changed the world with his music and dancing but great people die everyday, people that change the world differently, in little strides and are not recognized for it. Like soldiers that die for you, and firemen that die saving little kids from fires as i said earlier. Do you think that no one else died yesterday? anyways its just stupid trying to get through to you people so im giving up

RIP Micheal! Some of those covers were crappy, especially the first one and the glove. Most of the rest were ok.

I think more of them should have had pictures of him back when he was black. I think those were his best years, before the controversy started whether he did anything or not.

I think vegascartman`s kind of a dick. When you die I hope some douchebag on a message board starts pointing out every little alleged bad thing you did, regardless of whether or not it`s true.

Michael Jackson was a weird dude, no one can deny that. He was also an amazingly talented musician, I don`t think anyone can deny that either.

I appreciate Michael as an entertainer weather or not I liked his as an individual, or his allegations. He has changed the face of music indefinitely.

And Farrah Fawcett, it`s such a shame but at least she`s no longer in pain.

vegascartman: Hey back off man, I *don`t* personally think MJ is innocent (or OJ for that matter). I was only pointing out that he was wrong in calling him a *convicted* child molester, because he wasn`t convicted. And he wasn`t there, so he can`t be 100% sure either way. Neither can I, though I lean toward him being a diddler.

Now let`s all bask in my hilarious joke made previously.

Maybe since he is basically plastic they can bring him back as some sort of cyborg.

Hey Boadicea, just out of curiosity, do you think OJ is innocent too because you weren`t there and he was found "not guilty"?

"... a former star now convicted child molester..."

For accuracy`s sake, the courts found him not guilty on all charges.

And, "Gary`s favorite son" sees odd to me.

Nburkie420 - One qualm with your little spiel: He was never convicted and you weren`t there.

I think we can ALL agree though, regardless of what we personally think of that man: He touched a lot of people in a lot of ways.

Allegedly.

Here`s where all the hypocrisy lies with this. If most of these people crying over his death were to get a knock on the door by a police officer telling them, "Ma`am, I need to inform you there is a person moving into your neighborhood who has, in the past has been charged numerous times with child molestation. The charges were that he invited strange young boys over to his house and that he raped them while they were there. He claimed he was innocent but did admit to actually sleeping with the boys in his own bed. When the charges were brought, he paid off the families so they would drop the charges. We`re going to have a community meeting about this in two weeks, will you come?" I find it hard to believe that none of those people wouldn`t show up with a pitchfork and a torch but when they find out it`s MJ, all of a sudden they swoon over him asking for autographs. Hypocrisy on an unprecenented level!

I never missed him because of who he was.... unstable of a person that he was...

I remember him because some of his music was attached to my most cherished memory.

So may say people die everyday...and thats true. I wholeheartedly agree to that. especially when media comes to that.

just remember not everyone miss the crappy ass rapist who probably should suffer for what he did but more of his music and out it influence the world and what it means to people.

so stop knockin on people who miss him jeez. Its not like its gonna change anything anyways. people are going to miss him regardless....
just saying..

Due to the fact that Michael Jackson is 99% plastic, his body will be melted down into Lego blocks so that kids can play with him for a change.
sorry. to soon for jokes.

I really hate how the whole world has to stop when a former star now convicted child molester and abuser(also of his own kids) dies.. do you people not remember 24 hours ago when you completly hated him. People die everyday, soldier that die in combat, firemen that die pulling kids of burning buildings and cops that die protecting you from complete chaos. I will remember these people, not a messed up guy who thought he was peter pan and touched little boys danger areas with a white glove. You people probally don`t like me at all for saying this but I personally will never remember this guy as an Idol and the king of pop but rather as person that ruined and scarred kids lifes, I will remember him as one of the things that is completely [email protected]#ked up in this world. But still i understand he was mentally unstable so R.I.P. Michael

Poor Farrah... She was a hottie back in the day.

I really liked the two the said "The King" and "Unforgettable" but I think the best one, that spoke the most to me, was the empty white glove. A pictures worth a thousand words! I think the ones that showed him through the years were meant to be serious, but to look at what he did to himself was more sad than anything. All that surgery could`ve been done without!

That`s so true wolf...he had a 45 year career and he was only 50! He has done so much humanitarian work and went to places and regions before Angelina made it "cool". As far as the allegations, I don`t believe them. If you had a kid, would YOU settle out of court for millions of dollars or would you want justice?? I would personally want the guys nuts to be cut off, don`t try and hand me a million dollars, that wouldn`t cut it. And the second allegation was ridiculous. The mother/kid/lawyer couldn`t get their story straight...give me a break! For all these rude and disrespectful comments, you people really need to get a life and stop picking on a dead guy.

RIP MJ

Call him what you want he was The King of Pop. Sure he played around with kids which IS a big deal and will never be right but you have to remember he had a troubled child hood. That could have been the cause.

But I guess in a way 2 people really died.

The first and the last ones were hideous! But the last one is the star, so what do you really expect from them?? And Alfish, Elvis was KING of impersonation...he didn`t bring anything new that R&B, blues and other music legends and genres of that time had already done. Chuck Berry, Jackie Wilson, Wynonie Harris, James Brown (just to name a few) were doing those moves and singing 100x`s better that the "KING" could ever sing...just to set the record straight. Sorry for the rant...

The title should be; "Overdosed on Jesus Juice, Pedo-bear in mourning".

Why do we still honor this pedophile when we should bury him facedown with a carrot in his tail?

"
The world is a better place now that the "wanna be white boy" is dead"

You`re a f*cking idiot, do you know that? The reason he bleached his skin is because he had a rare disease (and yes it exists) that turns your skin white in blotches, so, rather than looking like a chess board, he did it all at once.

Hope you feel like an ass now, `cause, you are.
