the reason he has the world record is this:
sue people can kick things higher than that, but the sport of "high kicking" demands that the foot that kicks the ball must be the last foot to leave the ground and the first foot to land.

watch it again, closely.

"Actually I think Tony Ja can kick higher than that"

Yeah I totally agree. Remember where he kicks out that lamppost in Tom Yung Gung/The Protector? He kinda cheated by doing a backflip but that was WAY higher than this.

i hardly call this a 10ft jump. More of a jump, stick leg up and see how high i can get my foot. if hid whole body has at least 10ft, not his foot, that would be more impressive

not very high considering the high-jumping record is 2.45 or something. If he could wack it with his dick or something he would be at about same level as them.

For one thing he didnt jump 3 meters, he jumped about 1 meter, he might have broken a record for kicking a ball at 3 meters, but jumping 3 meters...lol keep dreaming wussy.

Maybe the highest high kick within Wushu, but not in martial arts as a whole.

There`s absolutely no way I could ever dream of doing this. First of all, I can`t jump that high and second, I would rip my groin in two trying to kick that high. But, I`m still not that impressed.

I witnessed a martial arts expert from Peoria, IL kick a basketball rim, (10 feet) back in 1985. He didn`t just tap it either, he took about two steps, jumped, and struck it with force. Oh, he was about 5`4", too.

There`s NBA players who could probably kick that ball without even jumping.

I`m glad I could see this video. Just the other day I was talking to my wife and we had this heated discussion as to who actually owned the world record for high kicks. It erupted into this huge fight inside our local Applebees and pretty soon, the entire restaurant started arguing over this. Well, now we know!

Doesn`t look that high. I bet it`s harder than it looks, but I wasn`t blown away.

I dun think that`s a record. I could be wrong but It doesn`t seem like a record breaker.
