RIP Michael Jackson. You were a true legend, and your influence is far-reaching. You had a really hard life, and even though your father was horrible to you, you pulled through and became the King of Pop. You`ll be missed by millions.

Ok, Michael deserves his props, etc. I don`t have any problem with that but does ANYONE out there remember that Farrah Fawcett died just before him? I know she wasn`t a coffin sleeping, childlike, plastic surgery freak who could sing and dance like a demon but she deserves her moment too and the press has completely ignored her since Jackson died. Ah well, that`s life...and death.

RIP to both of them. I loved them both.

2 Krabkat: How the hell can you say you loved MJ when you just bashed him by calling him those things?? The man is dead, show him some respect.

As for Fawcett, her death was indeed sad but everyone knew it was coming, and there is no mystery surrounding why she died, the way there is with Michael. Also, her acting didn`t influence nearly as many people as MJ`s music did. so yes, it`s sad and RIP Farrah Fawcett, but Michael`s death is a little more upsetting to millions of people.

@ Kribbe: Farrah Fawcett was one of the original Charlie`s Angels. she`s also done a number of Lifetime movies and was in the Disney movie "Man of the House". I know she`s done some other things, but I can`t remember them. She passed away of cancer the same day MJ passed. RIP to them both.

"The man is dead, show him some respect."

the man was a "a coffin sleeping, childlike, plastic surgery freak who could sing and dance like a demon ".

he was also a paedophile aquitted by a biased jury, sympathetic to his cause. a has been that hasnt performed well since 1990.

ye im a fan of his music, but not of him. he created a frikking theme park, where he invited children to "play" with him.

first of all, you don`t sound like you know a lot about Jackson or his background, so I wouldn`t be talking if I were you. Jackson was very messed up in the head, his father beat and sexually abused him for years. I have a feeling that IF he in fact molested children, he didn`t see it as a bad thing; he probably saw it as a way to introduce children to sex by someone who loves them.

So now, do you still think him a horrible person? Where is your PROOF that he molested kids, or that he intended to harm them at his fun park? Hmm? Thought so.

And, for the record, if any abuse did occur I`m not justifying it or excusing it. But there`s more to the story than "Jacko the Wacko who hurt little kids". way more.

and Jackson will NEVER BE a "has been". He has influenced the music genres of pop, rap, and hip-hop, and he has hundreds of millions of fans. every single show on his come-back tour in London was sold out. Maybe I`m just crazy, but that does NOT sound like a "has been".

TehKitten, whatever his reasoning behind touching little kids, if he touched them, he`s a drating pedo.

Cased closed. Case drating closed. You give me some discernable proof otherwise. I`m not the damn supreme court; it`s guilty until proven innocent.

He said he loves children. Crap, he`s got 3, he could have stuck to his own instead of inviting kids over all the damn time. And that`s why people think he was a pedo, and he probably was.

I don`t give a crap if he could sing, or dance, or anything. Janet Jackson can sing! But she didn`t touch children.

I feel absolutely no remorse, or sadness, or grief, over the fact that a rapist died.

Simim23...you say IF he touched the kids. Do you have any proof he did? Case open.

You don`t even know for sure if he did, yet you act as though he`s guilty and deserved to die. you have no idea if he hurt any children, and you don`t know anything about why he invited children over to his ranch, or about his interactions with his own children.

Get the facts before you make such closed-minded assumptions about him.

@tehkitteh, it sounds like you are being the devil`s advocate. ofc he fiddled kiddies, there wouldnt be a trial otherwise ya nab.

so what if he was abused...doesnt give him right to do the same.

and ofc he`s a hasbeen. his last album was 2001 and i dont think it even charted. he hasnt had a good song since early 90`s.

a comeback tour that he backed out on for the first 10 gigs is what i call a hasbeen milking the media.

hand ME proof that he wasnt a paedo and even more proof that he wasnt a hasbeen, and then return with a viable argument.

yes its a drating shame he`s dead but im not gonna forgive a guy that was non compus menti and still allowed out in public.

he abused his rank as the king of pop, we shouldnt praise him. im glad he`s dead, at least now he wont butcher his memory with a pooty comeback tour and the possiblilties he would fiddle more children.

    ty and good drating night!

Simim23, he was tried and was found not guilty.
The law has done as much as it can, and I believe that Michael Jackson was not a paedophile, but adored children.
Lose the closemindedness and see that he was not only a musical genius, a fantastic dancer, but was also a devoted father and cared deeply for people.

"but was also a devoted father"

so devoted he made his children wear veils to stay out of the media, but by doing so the media went crazy. and the whole baby dangling thing was the act of a "devoted" father?? he should have done seppuku (??) for that. the only honourable death that paedo is gonna get

"And that`s why people think he was a pedo, and he probably was."

Grow up, seriously, people who think he is touching kids just because he enjoys their company are the sick ones. you see him do it, then he did it, otherwise he was just a child in a mans body, do children see it as wrong to share a bed? he didnt see it as wrong to be in the same bed as a child, but we do.. thats all, he was clearly wasnt all there in his head.

These guys look really sad. Either it`s beacause a musical icon died or because they had to perform the gayest dance ever.

And Michael Jackson had a lot of psychological problems like acting like a kid because he never had time to be a kid.

    @ haters,
How about we give you an abusive father who forces you into music for his own personal gain,
as well as a rare skin disease that eats away at more than just skin. And on top of that lets give you a plastic surgeon that has no clue what he`s doing and screws your face up permanently.
And then on-top of all that, lets accuse you of being a child molester, just because your a child-at-heart.oh also don`t you think its convenient for a poor child, or more importantly a poor child`s parents to sue a multi-millionaire, accusing him of being a pedophile?
If you all remember correctly this was at the exact same time everyone started jumping on the "I was molested by a priest" bandwagon. Why does everyone insist on blaming Michael, is it because he "fits" your pre-conceived notion of a creepy pedophile? you think he wanted to end up looking the way he does? read into his biography a bit and maybe you`ll be more open minded.

TheKitteh: Excuuuussse me? I did NOT bash Michael...I told the truth. He slept in a coffin thing, he had tons of plastic surgery, he was very childLIKE (probably because he never had a normal childhood) and he was a freaky guy - please don`t tell me you think he was NORMAL??? C`mon, I loved his music and watching him perform but I`m not delusional about his habits...He was freaky. I happen to like freaks.

Speaking the truth about someone isn`t bashing!

I usually like your comments alot but you need to get real here - I`ll chock it up to your sadness at his passing.

    @ Link Hiei

People taking everything to seriously. Bringing up the old "was MJ a pedo?" debate and trying to justify actions blahblahblah...

Farah Fawcett died and went to heaven. When she got there she met God and he gave her one wish. She asked for all the children of the world to be safe, so God killed Michael Jackson.

(Just a JOKE by the way... I saw it and thought it was funny...)

@IABbrandon : Because of subtle suggestions like "you don`t do this I`ll f*ck you up?" from the guards? It`s all about publicity. If thousands of people are watching this, even off youtube, you can make money off of it. Not saying that`s what they did, but if guards say do it, they`ll give them a reason to.

Though Michael Jackson did come off as a tragic figure, he was a huge influence on a whole lot of people, no matter what you say about his personal life. His professional life had been such a major success, it practically overshadows his personal life, as sad as it is.

And on a side note, this video was great. I love that they were able to make a tribute for him.

    Very cool.

There is no proof that he did any of what was said in his personal life, and there isn`t proof that he didn`t either, HOWEVER, there have been studies on children going to the doctor. Basically, children went to the doctor and were recorded by a hidden camera. The children were asked by different adults `where did he touch you`. At first, the children pointed to their ears, eyes, throat, nose, you know, places doctors normally touch to see if you`re healthy. After a while, the kids started saying `he touched me here` pointing to nether regions. My point is you can`t trust kids.

how dare you people bash on a wonderful person such as mj.so he had a messed up childhood.you can`t blame him for that.he just never had time to be a kid,so he`s still a child at heart.at the time ppl were like, " oh, he molested my kid" was the same time as the priest thing, don`t you think that`s weird? he just wants to have A chance to be a kid,and wants to share his fun park with kids.he`s a very nice person, and he thought all the things he did for kids, like letting them play in his park, letting them sleep in his bed, etc. were good things, cuz he just wanted the kids to do what he never could.so he wasnt normal.his abnormality was suspicious to some closed-minded people, and that`s why they accused him of those things.these people probabaly wanted to do this, because who in their right mind would completely hate him?he was a wonderful singer and person, and he will be missed.RIP MJ..he had many bad times, but he still stands as the king of pop,no,of the world :P
