Ha what a surprise it`s from Leicester. I think my old school had the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the country... something to be proud of!

I wonder how much that actress got paid for that. Probably not enough :-/

Souljah even your pic makes you look like a twat. Stop it.

This video is graphic, but true. Sad thing is in England money is a big reason whilst teenagers get preggers. The drating tax payers money will get you a house, tax relief, and more benifits than having a job instead. It`s bullpoo considering the child they will raise will probabyl just as lazy and drated up.

what a stupid ad. No one expects to give birth on a football field surrounded by their high school classmates. That was just loud and annoying and graphic.

For those of you who are just retarded, my comment on it being unnatural was meant to be a joke, followed by a few things that most kids don`t know about child birthing.

I know its completely natural to have a parasite growing inside you for 9 months and then after it has grown to large, it ejects itself from the womb only to become exactly like its half-wit parent/s who didn`t know what protection was.

Don`t like what I say? Then don`t read it.

@LandoGriffin
Why wouldn`t they take her to a hospital once the labor began?

That`s the whole point of the advert. Teen pregnancy is not easy nor fun, neither teen parenting is. It`s like bringing it to a space it`s not supposed to be in (school). The screaming sort of reinforces that XD

Why wouldn`t they take her to a hospital once the labor began? If it is a woman`s first baby, labor lasts close to 24 hours (my wife has had two - the second baby comes out much faster)

you aren`t going to be able to sway our youth from having sex at such a young age with some stupid advert. That is something parents should be doing.

It`s sad that we need 30-second commercials to teach our kids morals and life lessons.

"Well, that was uncalled for. Why would a group of kids deliver the baby on a field? There isn`t ANY logic in this advert." aparently you didn`t read the rest of the video... and you can`t just choose where you want to deliver a baby you doof! Once the water breaks you don`t have much time!

poor girl. that must have been horrifying to be the center of THAT kind of attention in the middle of your schools PE field when only two people are helping and the rest are filming it for YouTube! What a horrible group of kids!>:[

As usual people type before doing a bit of research because they are offended and butt-hurt. ITS FAKE, ffs people. Have you heard of acting? Just because you couldn`t out-act Keanu Reeves doesn`t mean everyone sucks as badly at acting as you.

"Wow, Im glad its not on TV, it freaked me out watching it, where you feel your heart jump a beat!"
This is EXACTLY why it needs to be on the air. Teenage pregnancy isn`t all puppies and rainbows and it will make you think twice before you open your legs.

that was the most awkward advertisement i`ve ever seen in my life. also, if this is a real video of real people, then kids are a**holes. who the f*ck thinks its ok to crowd around a girl going through likely the most painful thing in her entire life like its a freakshow?

Male 22
Hmmm... I was definitely shocked. If I were a teen girl, I would now not want to get prego. But we`ve always got the stubborn girls (i.e. Maury`s out of control teens) to think about. What will stop them? *cue Godzilla music*

It was made by NHS Leicester City, so it was a local project rather then government.
Its staged to show awareness of teenage pregnancy
here is the link from the Metro side that reported on it today

Maybe they had a crowd because many teens get pregnant for the attention. This girl got attention, just not really the kind she was looking for.

Wow, Im glad its not on TV, it freaked me out watching it, where you feel your heart jump a beat!

As for those saying about hospitals, it could be that she just then had gone into labour, and they`d called an ambulance but were waiting etc, because these unexpected teen births DO happen.

It`s funny how people are so quick to show violence and profanity without hardly batting an eyelash, but the minute something meaningful - with an actual message - comes out, people are quick to ban it. It`s ridiculous. All of a sudden, it`s "too intense" or whatever. As if.

hm.. I read about this in the newspaper on the way to school today and honestly, its not that shocking, and probably will help reduce the number of underage/teenage pregnancies.

It`s starting to get out of hand really..
For instance, Im 15 and in my 4th year at High School, and 2 girls in my year are pregnant.
Sadly, I think they both lost the babies recently, but it`s still a ridiculous notion that they were pregnant at 15.
I wouldnt even think about sex if I didnt have a condom with me out of pure fear of impregnating my girlfriend.

But yeah, some people get drunk and do silly things so i dont condone the girls who do get pregnant or anything, but they should still take full responsibility for what they done.

Anyway, thats my view. I hope it made sense, my brains frazzled from all my exams :( Spanish today.. it hurted my brain.

The_Maddog, you seriously think that this kind of behavior can be blamed on culture? It`s a bit deeper then that actually.

You see, in this kind of society that we live in (One that teaches that acquiring wealth will bring you happiness) has a side effect on the whole human race.

We`re slowly losing empathy and replacing it with another value.

How is this `NSFW`, let alone banned?
--------------------------------------------------

It`s not banned, but it will never be aired on TV. Its a viral video, produced as part of the Leicester Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood Partnership`

Anyway..it also addresses my major pet hate of todays youth culture. Rather than get help in an emergency, people would rather film it. I know the vid`s staged and it`s all actors but it does happen!

Giving birth is so unnatural! Here`s a couple things they don`t tell you about giving birth... not to mention there are other things with being pregnant that are just as fun: 1. it can tear your vag to your butt sometimes leading to bleeding out if not stopped fast enough, 2. you bleed for 3 months after giving birth, 3. your boobs will secret milk through everything... and that stuff doesn`t come out of clothes that well!
