There is a reason our evoltionary ancestors crawled out of the ocean, and I have no desire to ever go in it, nor do I understand people who feel compelled to go in. Of course the range of bio-diversity is interesting, but humans are out of their element in the sea. Oceans freak me the hell out, and this thingy is yet another reason I am happy to stay on land with my shotgun to ward off the occasional bear - shotguns don`t work underwater.

goalie i agree with you the ocean freaks me out as well, just the fact that i cant see whats beneath me is more than enough reason for me to stay on land, that way i can at least see what is attacking me

That`s exactly what I was thinking! I mean usually in lakes it`s pretty much ok but on open sea...That`s creepy, there`re thousands of deadly creatures in there lol.

And this is why I scuba dive, for all the awsome stuff you see down there

The best thing to compare it to would be like a reverse puffer fish. When threatened it hides itself instead of puffing up.

I`m not sure if it is a plant or an animal, because there are creatures in both sides that can do that.
